This location needs to revisit their hiring practices. We visit on occasion and it's been more miss than hit. We stopped in via drive thru yesterday afternoon with someone who is lactose intolerant and another who is sensitive to caffeine. We ordered a frozen drink with milk alternative and an iced decaf with a splash of cream. We were served the frozen drink with whipped cream. I told the female worker we had ordered the drink with no whipped cream, and she hastily walked to the sink, and it appeared she wiped the whipped cream off with her hand or lid and put the lid back on. The small ice decaf coffee was white. I told the cashier that I asked for just a splash, meaning just a little bit, so he handed it to the male who made it. He dumped it out, then poured about 1/4 cup in it and filled with coffee again. It looked identical to the one I'd sent back, and it didn't seem to be decaf either. I told the cashier who handed me the drink that it was the same as before, and he just stood there and didn't say a word. I had already paid. The 4th person "waiting" on us forgot one of our pastries. We only ordered 2 plus munchkins. Customer service was nonexistent, and it didn't seem that anyone was paying attention to the task at hand, nor was anyone friendly in the slightest, and the two employees making each of the drinks seemed perturbed by when we brought to their attention that we did not get what we ordered and paid for. We will take our...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can't ignore how poorly my needs were considered at this location today. My wife has a heart problem and can't drink caffeine, so I habitually come in and ask that her drink be made with decaf iced coffee. I usually get a very clear reassurance that it is, and my wife gets to drink her coffee knowing she is safe from harm.
I asked the same thing today (11/29/23), and the man with glasses behind the counter just stared and nodded. I then explained further that I wanted to be sure, and he said, "Yup." I took this to mean that the coffee I requested was decaf, despite his blank expression when he looked at me.
My wife drank this coffee and within the next hour began to feel heart palpitations, among other severe symptoms. We had to rush her to the hospital as a result of the staff choosing not to check, double-check, and communicate with me on this occasion.
I'm sad that I've had to issue this review. I'm sad that I can no longer trust this location. I only hope that the man who lied to me and put my wife in danger is held responsible by management. I hope that his fellow workers can hold him responsible as well ā as they have met our needs before. Clearly, this is a problem that starts with him ā but my family no longer feels safe going to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst service I've ever had at any Dunkin donuts. I've been going for almost 20 years, in every state I've ever lived in. Connecticut, New York, Texas and now here. Never had any problems. But this Dunkin has the most appalling service. One of the last times I went I had asked for a shot of espresso because the coffee was made poorly. The girl at the window took my coffee back and slammed the door. When she handed it back to me it was SUPER STRONG. I've had espresso before but the girl must have put WAAAYYY more than one shot. I only drank maybe 1/4 of it before I got super shaky and my heart was racing. I was on my way to work and had to pull over to get sick. I've drank coffee since I was a teen and have never experienced anything like this.
When I went back I was explaining to one of the cashiers what happened, when another approached and asked what happened and she said, "I guess she couldn't handle the coffee". No apologies, didn't show any remorse. They were always a little rude but this whole encounter was way...
