The woman in the drive thru ROBBED ME!!!!! I recorded the entire thing! And will happily take legal Action. I handed her a 20 dollar bill AS SHOWN ON CAMERA! She then rang it up as a 10$ bill and gave me 1$ and a few cents in change it was late so it was dark in the car but I immediately noticed it when some light showed me the bill I was handed I then parked to look at the receipt to notice she rang it up as 10$ . I immediately went inside as I had no 10$ bills only 3 twenty’s and 9 ones which is why I gave her a 20. When I went in she looked shocked to see me and nervous I pointed at her and said I need to speak with you and she said okay okay one second . When she came over I told her she rang my 20 as a 10. She asked zero questions she said just now okay took my receipt and asked me to give her back the change I went to my car to grab it (as all of this is on video) she then walked outside to me and told me to keep my change and to take the 10$ bill and I then confronted her for robbing me. This is theft not a joke . I was robbed . She knew exactly what she was doing which is why she was so nervous and fast to get me out of there and my money back. think about all of the HARD WORKING FAMILYS who come to this location and get ROBBED by this woman. Depending on how long she’s been working there probably dozens to a couple hundred people.i am more than happy to send over the videos and I know legally they have to have a working camera above the register. She would not give me my original receipt back . I will take legal action if this is not taken care of immediately.i am disgusted and EXTREMELY disappointed in this location and staff. Do better!!! Read moreWhile this looks like a cute remodeled, Dairy Queen, so not be fooled....the service will let you down terribly. We went as a family with three hungry kids and arrived at noon. We were the only people dining in, and there was a slow stream of drive thru. The employees took forever to bring our food and when it arrived it was like warm and the kids meals were wrong. Obviously attention is just paid to the drive thru, because they forgot we were there when we asked where the correct kids meal was nearly ten minutes later, after having been told it would be brought right out Having suffered through the main course, we all wanted blizzards as that is the real reason you eat at Dairy Queen to be fair. The five blizzards arrived in three phases so I guess trays weren't ever purchased. Only one of the first two was up turned, as corporate policy suggests, and we realized that it was barely a milk shake consistency. At this point we were told there was no chocolate ice cream, which was the key ingredient in four of the five blizzards. Why they didn't know this when we first ordered it belies any understanding, but we had already waited long enough to bother. This was not an excuse of low staffing due to difficulty finding employees. The drive thru wasn't that busy and the three employees laughing around showed they were not rushed off their feet. Our meal (or punishment) was a 90 minute endurance, that tested our patience levels, our kids' ability to sit in one place for that long and finally the biggest test was to our taste buds, which bore the brunt of the painful experience. Read moreWent to DQ today and ordered up $50 of food for the fam-bam. Employee at the window was extremely nice and courteous at the window which is something of a rarity at a restaurant.
Got home there was a issue. I'm not built to let things go because i work hard everyday. Jumped back into the bat mobile and busted a move.
When greeted at the order post/menu box, it was the same voice that greeted me earlier. It was a courteous greeting yet again - abnormal but ill take it anytime I can. This time I advised that i was a little irritated and id like to speak with a manager at the window. The voice over speaker box said ok, please pull forward. I got the window same person as before. I wasn't mean or anything, but said hello and asked for a manager. The lady said I'm the manager, how can I help you. We spoke for a minute or two, she asked me to pull around and park for a few minutes so I complied. A few minutes passed, she came out with a warm smile and handed me my food and apologized, acknowledged my issue and acted on it.
She was kind, extremely empathetic, professional and human in regard to the communication.
Niya, as I stated to you, your demeanor and character immediately disarmed me calmed me so. You did right by me and the fam-bam and we really enjoyed our meal.
Thank you for fixing my issue with a smile and even having a laugh with me. I'm simply blown away at how you handled yourself and me. And you asked me to give the restaurant another chance and with the same smile and energy I absolutely said I would.
If we had more of your character and personality everywhere, every establishment would have 5 stars.
