Gus's New York Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

If I could leave this review with no stars I would... however, last night my friend and I stopped by for beer pizza and wings after the game. We sat at the bar and ordered our beers and Zucchini slices as appetizers . It began to get cold so we asked if they could start the fire table behind us, which they did and I thought that was very nice of them. We move dtot he table with our beers and appetizer.. Well after sitting there for a while some guys walked up to our table and sat down to talk. It’s was fun and what not but that’s when the waitress came up and began to converse with one of the guys at the table .. give or take it was a good 20-25 minutes she stood there having a conversation. After she was done talking my friend and I ordered with her because we assumed she was the waitress at that table.. medium pizza and a dozen wings. Needless to say she wasn’t. But she took the order anyways. After waiting about 45minutes we got out pizza which seemed undercooked .. the cheese did not look consumable ... and our wings never showed up.. a totally different gir brought us our pizza btw and when I asked about the wings she looked at me as if I was crazy.. and the guy at the table told me they were taken to his old table were his friends ate them. The waitress was confused and denied taking the wings there but the guy told her .. yeah those were their wings and you took the to that table .. I asked her again so where are my wings and she tells me well do you want them... ummm hello yes I do why else would I order a dozen wings with my pizza.. so I told her where are my wings and she said again do you want the wings with the ugliest face. After that I stood up and headed to the bar and spoke to the for at the bar she gave me a survey to fill out which I did and Asked her to call over the girl who had the long conversation with the guy at our table. She walked up behind the bar and when I told her the situation she said well your table isn’t mine ... and I told her but you took my order .. why wouldn’t you send the waitress that has my table ? She denied having the order sent to the wrong table and the girl behind the bar was confused because she started blaming her .. to end the blame game I asked for the check ... my two beer the zucchini slices and then medium pizza.. they didn’t give me a receipt but I did get my change . I called the manager right after I left to let him know his girls need to work and customer service and take food th was correct table. This was my very first time coming here and Ive heard a lot about this place but I...

Ok so Friday the 29 at 6:50pm I placed an order over the phone for a 16" pizza and a order of onion rings at 7:15pm a friend and I arrived to pick up order we walked in and I went to counter to pay and get my order the young lady at the counter took my payment and advised me that the order would be ready in a few so we sit down and waited at 7:38 PM I walked up to counter and asked if the pizza that had been sitting at the kitchen window was mine she said yes so I said I want my food that is when she told me that they didn't have onion rings so I raised my voice and told her just how long was they going to keep us waiting all she could say is you dont have to be so rude I went on to explain to her that I'm a paying customer and that I have already paid so I want my money back for the onion rings and she got a Attitude with me so I pushed the pizza to her and demanded my money put back on my card and to give me a Receipt showing that she had put my money back and I went on to tell her that I would never darken their door step again even if the was the only place that sold pizza ..

Poor customer service with a attitude...

This restaurant used to be the best but it has become the exact opposite since our last visit. In February a large margarita was free on your birthday which has changed since then (the main reason we chose to dine here over much better places). I was charged $7 for a "birthday drink," a 12 ounce margarita that I could have got for a couple of dollar at any other restaurant. The new layout of the restaurant gives it a cafeteria-esqe vibe and there was only six other customers when we arrived. The restaurant was poorly air conditioned with fans running full speed. The pizza was tasty but fell apart before landing on the plate and was cut poorly. We weren't offered friendly service and there was a noticeable lack of communication between the employees. I was not given a "happy birthday" or comp on the drink or menu items. It took three attempts to get the server's attention for refills on water, extra ranch, peppers and parmesan which used to be on the tables previously. The soda cooler was nearly empty, the game station was shut down, and the interior gave the perception that the restaurant is being shut down. Needless to say I will not be dining here again...
