Palermos Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

The owners and the staff are very nice and they are not at all the reason for my review or rating. Growing up my mom and I had these guys on SPEED DIAL, we LOVED their pizza and wings. It has been a long time since ive had their food but, Now that i have a family of my own, i recently passes by the area snd suggested to my husband that we eat their pepperoni pizza and wings because I remembered how much LOVED the savory flavor of their wings and how HUGE the pizza are. So we agreed to place an order. Now, What i am upset about is how the WINGS, that USED to also be huge (or at least a normal and decent size with lots of meat, bout middle finger length) are now the size of my PINKY!!! With very LITTLE MEAT!! Why!?!?!? The flavor of the sauce itself remains the same savory flavor, BUT, it did not soak in with the wings and made eating it less than enjoyable and a waste of money considering how much meat i actually got from it. We then turned to the pizza... i dont recall as to what it tasted like 10 years ago when I came every week or so, but the cheese was less than desirable and kept falling apart from the pizza when being lifted from the rest of the pizzas and took the toppings with it. I could have put up with it, after all, I was gonna eat it, but the taste did not make me wanna keep eating and frankly, i was very disappointed because it was NOT how it used to be. This was just my experience the day I went, it could have been just the person making the pizza that i didnt like how it came out, but i dont think i will be back...

"We just had an amazing dinner experience with Palermos Pizza! We were craving pizza and wings, and their family deal on DoorDash caught my eye - a large pizza and 20 wings. I called the store to confirm the wing style, and Amanda was an absolute sweetheart. She let me know they were traditional bone-in wings, which was perfect since that's our favorite.

The food arrived, and oh man, it was LOVE AT FIRST BITE! We devoured the entire order (no leftovers!). It was our first time trying Palermos, and we were blown away. Amanda's exceptional customer service didn't go unnoticed - she even included plates, parmesan cheese, and peppers. We're looking forward to visiting the store soon to try their freshly baked pizza straight from the oven. Thanks, Palermos team and Amanda, for a fantastic experience!

I have officially added this to my “go-to” pizza place in AZ now! The owners are incredibly nice and are very conversational, the customers that came in while we were waiting for our food could’ve been mistaken as family by the way they casually talked. Theyre very friendly and personable!

Besides the amazing atmosphere, the food… oh my gosh… amazing! It taste incredibly authentic and its new york style🤤. We couldn’t wait til we got home and started eating in the car, haha!
