OMG! This place has bomb tacos! CASH only so please don't show up with your plastic, they have glass bottle coca cola products and can Mexican juice like guava agua de coco and the hot sauce or green (not hot/ spicy) guacamole they serve are so delicious! I personally find it difficult to locate a mexican restaurant that has tacos de tripa or lengua that can get the meat right and La Frontera has exceptional perfectly cooked tacos. The hot guy and the lovely ladies who serve you are super friendly and quickly get the food out, its surprising that they don't have many establishments. Parking fills up and empties quick and I notice some people actually order for pick up, at a taco truck?! hey why not😂😂BOMB! come get some

Update: 11am is when the 2nd truck comes in but they only take money now, so be ready to have cash only... my usual burrito is the shrimp and octopus, it taste so good...money wise bring a $20 The 1st truck, would be the tripe burrito's 1 they'll have both of card and cash... I got the tripa burrito and omg, it tastes just like mutton wraps (at the t.c. fair just saying) it was good enough for 2 people but IDK if you liked chili peppers in it...😋😍 1st Picture : tripa burrito (1st truck near road)...$8 2nd Picture : spicy/non shrimp and octopus $10 ( it's worth every penny)... Check for hours...

After our evening activities we decided to stop find a place for a late night dinner. And then it was after midnight there were that many choices but we ran across a food truck called La Frontera 1. They had exactly what we wanted, and they accepted cash or credit cards. It was almost like faith. The El Pastor tacos and California burrito for incredibly delicious! And washing it down with a real Mexican Coca-Cola topped off the night! Don't expect a nice dining area. This is an outdoor style seating, but the food definitely makes up for it!

This place is the definition of "roach coach." But is absolutely one of the best you'll find for great mexican food. Open late, the food is rich and authentic. Everything I've tried by far was amazing. I always order the Tacos de Cabeza, or tacos with head meat. It is easily the most tender, balanced dish. It sounds weird, but trust me it is easily the best there is. Everyone that complains about it being possibly questionable in preparation and they aren't wrong. But it's the closest you'll find without leaving phoenix to authentic mexican food, and I have not been sick once! Take a risk and try it! Cash only, it helps to atleast understand a little Spanish...

Worst Mexican food in my life! $36 straight to the trash. They charge $1 for using card. $3 per taco $11.50 per burrito and up charges depending on meat. I ordered a horchata it’s definitely a Klass Horchata mix not real horchata and it was $5. The red and green sauces were bland no taste at all and watered down. The al pastor smelled and tasted gamy and still had hair from the pig. Tasted like old expired carnitas. The tortillas were cold and sweaty. Both the carne asada and al pastor were very unseasoned. I’ve heard the stories of people from Culiacán feeding dog to patrons and I believed this food truck fed me dog since it’s...
