I highly recommend this place if you want a nice meal that is not airport cheap food or fast food. First of all, I love this French chain with amazing gourmet food and have eaten at the Houston location many times. This is excellent cuisine, not food. You cannot reasonably complain about their prices if you want cheap food. This is not cheap food. If you want fast food pay for it by eating at the McDonalds next to La Madeleine, would be my recommendation, as this is French food and well worth the price. I had the smoked ham and swiss with garlic cream sauce sandwich (Croque Monsieur) to which I added blackberry jam to (making it similar to a Monte Crisco sandwhich) and enjoyed it immensely. The staff were quick and pleasant with my order and the food was delicious. I had their little Sacher Torte 3 layer cocolate cake, soaked in vanilla and with raspberry jam inside and topped with chocolate mousse and ganache and the famous candy emblem, which you can see in my photos and ooh la la! Look at my photo for the serious thickness and weight to that cake! Amazing! The old adage, you get what you pay for, rings true here. I chose to sit down and have a beautiful experience and not inhale a burger for a change. Yes, it's an airport restaurant, but not this food. I felt very happy to have indulged in French food before the final leg of my long, tedious, holiday journey and was glad to have a tummy full of yum when I boarded, so I didn't have to pay for a 15 dollar sandwhich and bag of chips on board. Indulge is the word for French cuisine. This...

Outstanding Food and Service at La Madeleine!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had the pleasure of dining at La Madeleine near Gate B20 at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! The food and service were truly outstanding.

I ordered a simple but delicious grilled cheese and turkey sandwich, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients. It came with a choice of chips or fruit, and I opted for a banana, which was the perfect complement. My green tea was also a delight, served with two artisan tea bags that added an extra touch of flavor.

What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every employee I encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. The level of detail and care they put into their service is something I rarely see, even in fancy restaurants, let alone an airport eatery.

A huge congratulations to Darius and his amazing team for making my experience so memorable. You truly did us proud! I’ll definitely be stopping by La Madeleine the next time I pass through Phoenix. Highly...

They stay open till 10pm. When everything else closes at 8ish. Which is convenient it it is a long walk from d gates but it worth it when it the only thing open and serves coffee and hot sandwiches. This is the only place that gives you a bag of chips or fruit with your sandwiches. One of the mangers named Hal is extremely helpful I recommend this restaurant to a tons of southwest customers when every other restaurant is closing down and chasing customers away. This is the place to go. I work at Airport. I get upset when restaurant closed 😕 just due lack of employees. I always recommend this one it is a bit of a walk but once arrived it totally worth it. (I could get fired lol). I get the big thanks when they come back to the C or D gates to tell me thank. I am not trying to promote this restaurant and not turning no one away. I just wanted to say thank you for being open for families and travelers to get a last minute ...

This is a rare review for airport food. In fact, it was “good.” Nothing wrong, but it’s rather hard to mess up bacon and eggs. This review, instead, is about friendly service received from “Mark” at the counter. It’s 6am. He’s probably been here since 3am or so- but you’d never know it. Mark greeted everyone he saw with a “Good morning, sir!”’(or ma’am) and a smile. He asked me where I was going, how my day was, and if I was coming back to Phoenix. He actually took the extra moment to bring my food to me rather than set it on the counter and while doing so gave a couple of unruly kids a piece of candy to quiet them down. It is sad how rare service and an attitude like this are, but it was pleasant for this weekly traveler to see. Kudos, Mark. You’re a rare bird.

Pretty decent airport breakfast. The breakfast croissant was pretty good, and the latte was tasty. $12 for both wasn't too bad of a price either. The already prepared food didn't look as appetizing, one lady already bought a salad, then after she paid for it must have read the ingredients or something and didn't want it anymore. She offered it up to other customers and after no one wanted it she handed it to the manager and walked away. It didn't look that bad, but also didn't look very healthy.
