My husband and I spent ten hours in the Phoenix airport waiting for our flight so we got to know this restaurant (which was next to our concourse) very well! They made delicious but expensive drinks --we each had two and they cost $67.77! That's actually the lower price that you get when you order doubles (which are $16 each, versus singles at $10 apiece). However, the server was nice and the drinks were fabulous, and helped us pass time while waiting for our flight to be cancelled, so we returned the next morning for breakfast. My husband had an entree, coffee, and two bottled waters. I had coffee and one bottled water. Although all of it was good, the total was nearly $30, which is high but typical of airport eateries. My only real complaint is that on both days they tried to seat us right next to the serving station that is shown in my picture. After declining both times we were given other seats, but I don't understand why they did that--especially since at breakfast the place was nearly empty--we were surrounded by 14 empty tables!!

Stopped in for an early lunch while waiting for our flight to Denver. Crazy busy but we were seated in less than 5 minutes. My wife had a chicken quesadilla and I had the fish tacos. The portions are large and as crowded as the place was, our food was served up in less than 15 minutes. The fish tacos were interesting - three - served on a flour tortilla that was only 3" across. Kinda like a fish taco "slider", if you will. The fish portions were small and dry. But the dish worked because of the good flavors of the black beans, cilantro, corn, etc. My wife liked her quesadilla and said it was flavorful. Prices are inline with what you'd expect at an airport restaurant. In spite of the name, they have a full-service bar with pretty much any type of liquor you'd like, not just tequila. The best part of our experience was our server - Matthew. Simply an outstanding professional. Kept us informed on the status of our order and checked in on us numerous times throughout our time there.

Service was great. Food… not so much. I placed my order and literally within less than 5 mins, the food was served. I ordered chicken nachos and a classic margarita. While the food looked great and appetizing, it was cold. It’s like they prepare the nachos ahead of time and put it to warm. The queso and chicken were ice cold. The waiter offered to have them remake it (2nd photo). It seems like they just put it under a broiler for a brief minute and topped it with more sour cream. It was awful. I was afraid to eat it because of the food temperature and didn’t want to get sick. The margarita was ok, don’t think it had the Don Julio as ordered. It just tasted like sweet and sour mix. The price of the nachos was $20 and the margarita was $16. I would pass on this place. Way over priced, food temperature a concern and not worth it.

This was an overall terrible experience. We just left this place in the airport. There are 3 areas (Zin Burgers, a place to order beer, then the sit in option) to order and pay for food. We ordered from the burger place and ordered a drink. The lady who took our food order, told us they were all the same. So, we decided to sit in the restaurant area while waiting for food and to eat our meals. We eventually planned to order drinks after our meal.

We were seated. As soon as we sat down... our waiter (a taller white guy) immediately told us we needed to order from them too or we had to move. We stated we just ordered a beer and he told us that wasn't good enough, we still had to order. We said okay we would order a drink. However, we didn't plan to order until we finished our meal. While eating, the unfriendly waiter insisted on coming to remind us that we needed to order from them. I told him, we are aware of this sudden policy and we've already stated we would, therefore there was no need to come back to tell us again. Especially considering you order by phone. He kept looking at the computer to see if we had yet ordered.

While we ate, we sat there as he literally watched us eat and told every other worker and bar tender there that we were sitting there and hadn't ordered. It was obvious as they too began looking oddly at us. I guess he thought we were going to eat, run and not order anything. Which in itself is VERY insulting. Managers and other workers continued to come out and stare at us.

We then ordered one drink so we could head back to our gate. The drink was watered down and for it to be a double tasted as if there was not even a single in the drink. Worst drink I've had in a LONG time.

We were very insulted, offended, and will never return. Zin Burgers were great...but stop there. The customer service at Blanco was enough to make me never return. Not to mention the terrible cocktail. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. TIP: Treat people with respect, integrity, and without racial profiling....then we can talk. This place is a...

I needed a place to chill for a few hours on a five hour layover and I really miss bars. People are wanting to be friendly but also keeping distance at the same time. The line to get in was a few minutes long but not unbearable considering I had so long to spare anyway. Lots of people were able to enjoy the food so that's good and I didn't mind waiting for a table. It seems a shame to sit me at a 4 person table alone tho. Missing mingling with others...

Even with the mandatory restrictions, the atmosphere here was fantastic. You order thru an online form with a QR code and your drinks and food are promptly delivered to your table. If you need a server or waitress they are everywhere to track down. There's distance between tables and barriers set up in the form of plexiglass on alternate tables - all for safety of course. They had some sportsball games going and music and it was a chill place for the couple hours I was there.

I ordered a double pomegranate and Raspberry patron Margarita (they have many tequila options) and it was delicious. Only served on ice cuz they don't have a blender but not the end of the world.

Their chicken queso nacho plate was piled high with all the right ingredients throughout. I didn't ask but the chips tasted very fresh, as well as the rest of the ingredients. Perfectly ripe avocados - which is key in my book.

I love people watching but felt like it was not a good day to do much of that because the other customers didn't seem like they wanted outside attention. Life will get back to normal soon ... Right?

Either way, if I end up in Sky Harbor again I will DEFINITELY come here before...

Hostes, TO GO LADY (black hair in her 50s) extremely rude . The bar also older (white hair) bar tender barely wanted to take my to go order in which he had it wrong twice because he barely paid attention to what I need it to order . The whole to go order system it’s inconvenience . Hostess sent you to the to go window but if you order something “outside “ their menu you have to go back to the hostess . Hostess told me she can’t put in an order to try the bar which was packed . Squeezing between customers I asked this bartender if he could help me put in an order . He barely took care of me and was rushing . I’m a flight attendant and he didn’t put the employee discount after that got straighten he sent me to wait at the TO GO WINDOW that rejected taking my order in the first place .After I received my order neatles to say it was wrong of course he didn’t even hear me or took time to take my order in a hospitality manner ! After that got corrected I took my order to eat it and again something else was wrong with original order . Overall wow these people shouldn’t be front house if they are not passionate about what they do which is SERVE ! I’m a server over 15 years I know exactly how anyone should be treated even on bad days ! Thank god at least the food was decent ! To bad tourist have to experience the same as me , I’m a 100 percent sure I’m not the only one experiencing such a low vibe type...
