I've been here twice just because I wanted to give it a chance. First time I went with a buddy if mine wanted to sit at the bar so I didnt have to wai to be seated was told I had to wait in line just like everybody else (there were like 6 seats available only one person eating at the bar) the gentleman said once my turn came up I could seat at the bar (everybody on the list was waiting for a booth or table) after waiting for like 40 minutes they called my name the gentleman wanted to seat me at the bar of course I refused I waited all that time now I want a booth (the entire 40 minute wait nobody sat at the bar). The waitress was really nice I give her 5 🌟 the menudo you have the option to ask for it without corn but it doesnt have flavor I think they add water to it everytime somebody orders. Flavor 1 🌟 option of no corn 5 🌟 . Second time i arrive an hour before they closed nobody was waiting but since there is a sign I waited for about 5 minutes (about 5 of the waitress saw me but ignored me) another gentleman walked in looked around and just walked in to the bar and sat down so I walked over towards the bar and then they asked me if I wanted to dine in. A different waitress from my first visit sat me down gave me some chips and waited 8-10 mins for someone to take my order. Menudo was the same as the first time but since I was already off work i wanted another beer again waited and waited until my favorite waitress walks by and says hi to me. she remembered me from my first visit :) she cleared by table and got me the beer. Im gonna give it another try hopefully they check my review and fix the hiccups. The gentleman told me that he couldn't sit me at the bar because people would get mad if he sat me down since I got there after... why would people get mad if someone sat at the bar when they are waiting...

Disclaimer: this review is primarily based on the service for dine in. We were looking for a good menudo spot and decided on this place based on the reviews and well the name of the place. We arrived around 10:30 and were seated right away. Our food and drink orders were placed and we received our drinks, chips and garnishes almost immediately. We ordered 1 large menudo and a medium menudo bowl, ham and eggs with rice and beans, and chorizo and eggs with rice and beans. Considering that the menudo should already have been made and eggs cook relatively quick we were expecting about a 15-20 minute wait for our food. Instead we waited about 45-50 minutes and only after my father in law got up and asked about the wait. The menudo ended up being OK, not much flavor and the broth was watery but had plenty of meat. The plates with eggs and chorizo on the other hand were really good and the hand made tortillas were delicious. Overall we would not return, the entire time we were eating the waitress only came by once to see if we needed anything and that was after we all finished eating. We noticed that other parties were missing their food as well for long periods of time and the restaurant was not...

Due to covid restrictions limited people allowed inside, so their is a wait ..we waited 45 minutes..kept hearing about this place, pulling up you would think it the place is falling apart,Restuarant is attached to a lobby of a hotel that seems to be going through a major remodel and rehab, Our name was called and we were seated and greeted all the way in our waitress was so nice and friendly !! We were there for the Menudo so that's what we ordered!! I was told to order the small because they are large portions and dont skimp they ask you if you would like it with our without hominy !! I got mine with.. they ask if you would like bread or tortillas and drinks were ordered as well I went with a michelada w a victoria they brought out chips and salsas,and onions,cilantro and a bowl of limes Oh and I ordered a Carne asada sope.😊 Menudo was brought out pretty quick and it was hot and smelled good!! I added the condiments and it was on !! It was so good !! Great flavor, great portions and the Sope was on point!! No complaints defenetly worth the wait ,plus it was on a sunday might come back during the week see if it's as busy as the weekend..Highly...
