San Francisco Chocolate Factory Phx — Local services in Phoenix

I had attended the $5 Dollar Food Fest in Tucson AZ on March 26th at the Kino Sports Complex. Its my understanding that your policy was as follows....Receipt Policy: If you do not get a receipt for each Food Plate you buy, you will get that Food Plate for FREE. (ALL Vendors are required to provide you a receipt for each and every transaction. Otherwise, they have to give you the meal for FREE.). However, the San Francisco Chocolate Factory DID NOT honor this policy. I ordered a chocolate covered cheesecake, paid for my purchase, the clerk gave me my change and started waiting on other patrons. I turned to leave and then I realized that I WAS NOT given a receipt. I went back to the stand, got the clerk's attention and informed him that I was not given a receipt and what the policy was on this, that was clearly advertised. The clerk was rude and told me that he will give me a receipt because he was not giving me my $5 dollars back. He then went to their register and printed off a receipt and literally threw it at me. I went to the ticket booth and was told that a manager was not available at that time and it might be a wait until the manager was available. This is very unprofessional and it all started with the man working at the San Francisco Chocolate Factory booth. All of your vendors should be abiding by your policy. I would suggest that San Francisco Chocolate Factory get more professional and polite...

I don't go back here because when I do they close early the sign says a certain time and they're closed half hour early. it happens quite often and then when you say something about it in the review you given this long story about how she's got a new child and how this and that and excuse me for this and that so sorry well this is a business and I know that you have personal things that happen but you shouldn't turn that around on the customer when they are just coming during business hours going out of their way to purchase something from your business.It sounds a little narcissistic and I don't remember leaving a review that said I love chocolate but they have apples coated with everything yummy That's not me at all so I changed it back to kind of what the first review was I know that you can pay people to change Google reviews but don't touch my review please and I saw in the reviews that you say you're on Van Buren and that's what the address is but in San Francisco chocolate factory was on Dunlap and 7th he said San Francisco chocolate factory in big letters that's when I was there and it changed hands everybody behind the counter was very very nice with the exception of the owner I think it was the owner I'm not sure it was a woman but she was always rude It said San Francisco chocolate after your company...

Amazing products, delicious chocolate and friendly helpful staff. Always happy with my haul from San Francisco Chocolate Factory. Thank you!

Only complaint at the moment, is it would be nice if even without state mandates they would take it upon themselves to have some extra care for the community and recommend some common sense safety measures to help ensure the safety of the customers during a public health crisis (masks, social distancing and/or lobby occupancy limits to prevent crowding). Especially due to the small size of the lobby and how fast it gets crowded in there, plus children (who can’t be vaccinated yet) are a target audience for their amazing products. The staff says they are vaccinated which isn’t 100% effective at stopping transmission, BUT it is much appreciated. Thank you.

**However, I recently learned they have online ordering and offer curbside pickup. Woohoo! - I was frustrated (I do apologize) and brought my concerns up rudely online (no excuse, should have talked to them), and the owner was cool and pointed out they have this option, which was nice of him.
