This café from the outside doesn’t seem or give you the perspective that as you walk in how busy this café really is. Moon Valley Café has a very down home home fill to it, with a fast paste atmosphere that gives each patron the ability to choose to either eat out on the patio or within the café. They have fantastic homemade pies as well as cookies and other bakery goods as well as a variety of dishes to serve your needs whether it be breakfast lunch or dinner the moment we walked in. We were greeted by Junior who sat us down in a booth and brought us coffee and water as well as menus to the table. Desiree was our waitress who was very professional and extremely busy but the service was quick and the food was extremely exceptional in every aspect from the exceptional hollandaise sauce, to their home potatoes. The coffee was fresh each and every time we received top offs and they also serve a variety of mixed drinks for the patrons who would like to relax a little more as well. The price we paid for breakfast was roughly around $38 which is typical and average now a days, but for the amount of food as well as the exquisite taste of the food you can’t beat it. Moon Valley Cafe is a very nice café that each individual should try at least once. Thank you, Junior and Desiree for serving us, and the cooks for the preparation of great tasting food.

Clearly they’re successful as it’s always busy. I’m going to assume that it’s either because eggs Benedict is not their specialty or that the cook was just having a rough morning. The Benedict was mediocre at best. The egg was poached well so that’s a rare situation but as for flavor, presentation or anything special, it just wasn’t there. I’m also used to getting almost raw hash browns when you order them “extra crispy”. That’s an industry problem. 95% of cooks just don’t understand that basic request so I’m not surprised that theirs were raw inside too. That being said, the service was amazing. The employees hustle and if you need to be in and out fast this is a place to go. I would have been happy to wait an extra minute to get what I requested than to have my food on the table in less than 5 minutes. But that’s just me. Shout out to Ginger. You’re amazing at what you do and they’re blessed to have you. You are the reason I’ll try again and I’m sure I’m not alone in that feeling. Thanks for being awesome! Because of the servers I’ll give it one more shot. May have to do some research to find out what they serve that’s good though so I don’t give up on them.

"I'm obsessed with Moon Valley Cafe on 7th Street and Thunderbird! My go-to spot, twice a week, every week! Desiree, the exceptional manager, treats us like family - her warm hospitality and personalized service make each visit unforgettable. The moment we step in, we're enveloped in a cozy atmosphere and greeted with genuine smiles. The menu boasts mouthwatering classics, consistently delivered with impressive quality and presentation. Whether breakfast, lunch, or brunch, every bite is a flavorful delight. Desiree's attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction elevate the entire experience. Five stars aren't enough - Moon Valley Cafe deserves ten! If you haven't visited yet, do yourself a favor and taste the magic for yourself. We're hooked for life!" 5/5 stars!

Maybe I came on a bad day. Very busy and we were sat in a back room, some of this room was used for storage. There was a floor fan behind our table pointing directly at my legs. That was okay though because the room was hot. A waitress, not mine, delivered some food to table underneath the thermostat. She looked at the thermostat and said it's 81° in here! She then walked behind our table and said well no wonder it's hot this fan is pointing directly at this table. Her tone of voice sounded as if she was accusing me of moving the fan. Of course I didn't. I ordered a steak sandwich medium rare. 20 minutes later our food arrived. My steak is medium well. The garlic bread underneath the steak wasn't toasted and had probably a drop of garlic spread in the middle of each slice. I didn't say anything....too hungry. Before our food came out the server who had a problem with the floor fan came over to our table and said what did you order? Mind you she wasn't our server. It was such a strange question. And again it was said in a rude tone of voice. I was a food server for 30 something years. I know what it's like to be slammed. However I have yet to experience such confusing service. I forgot to add that we got our drinks right away. About 10 minutes later as we were sitting there with our drinks, another server came up and said can I bring you something to drink. As I said very very weird. Not sure if I want to go back. Even the people at the table next to us made comments about the service we were getting. Our server was very nice. She was just super super busy. She said she had been there about three weeks. Understandable. One more thing, it's not the greatest thing to see a server step outside the side door and light up a smoke. Please go somewhere...

I have been at Moon Valley Cafe many many times. The food has always been excellent. The waitresses were always on top of their job. I went in there today to have chicken fried steak and eggs. I was seated by the busboy, he also brought me my drink which was unsweetened tea and water. I got the unsweetened tea never got the water. It took 20 minutes after I was seated for the waitress with the two long ponytails to come over and take my order. The food came up pretty quick but it set up there for another 10 minutes before she went and got it and brought it to the table. She popped it down and looked right at my empty cup and turned and walked away. I thought she was going to get me a refill. No! I wasn't even asked if there was anything else I can get you. Just left. On top of that I could get none of them to come over and give me a refill on my Tea. Nor did they make an attempt to walk around and give refills of coffee and it wasn't until the older waitress showed up that people started to actually be served and taken care of. She was doing at least 75% more than any of them we're doing and she walked in the door running. This was the worst service I have ever had at Moon Valley Cafe. Four poorly trained young girls. They have no clue what they're doing. I don't know how they're going to stay open what with that nightmare going on. I give 3 stars because the food was excellent but that was hands down the worst service I...

I was doing a service for this restaurant delivering the food products they need for their menu. I had started work at 12am that morning and it was about 10am when I got to their stop. The delivery entrance was up three steps and onto a sloped porch walkway into a side door. I decided to work smarter and not hard on my back, so I backed my truck up in alignment to the top of the steps and dropped my ramp up top, instead of towing the cases up the stairs on the dolley. I was parked at an angle but cars could still get around me. It was fine until two customer exited the door I was told to make the delivery through and couldn't use the stairs. But the porch was sloped and they simple walked down another way. The tall lady, probably the shift supervisor, saw the situation and grew upset because I wasn't towing the cases up the steps like she advised. Her and the front employees were inside talking about me to customers at the counter seat. The tall lady called me lazy and another girl said I was being an asshole because I wouldn't move the truck the way they wanted it to be. I never confronted them, just continue on with my deliver. I just can't believe they acted so unprofessional because maybe customers could have been inconvenienced for just 15 minutes while I did a service for them. No one else tried to use the door or walkway. There was no one else even on that side of the restaurant. Not...
