Came in on a slow weekend afternoon. Two other tables occupied in whole place. Server was friendly, but mistake prone. Was alone until seemingly manager or more senior server arrived. "I'm sorry was overheard way too much way too frequently. Someone arrived to pickup a call in order. Order wasn't even started, so person had to wait 20 min for order to be made. One couple came in and looked around, sat down. 10 minutes after sitting down, they got up and left just as more senior server walked out with waters to see them leaving out the door, and then loudly said "I hope I didn't drive you away" but obviously had. Remember there's like 4 tops max in the place. Another couple walked in door, looked around, then headed back out the door. Sushi prepared in back, no sushi bar to speak of. Way too many menu options, hard to say it's a sushi restaurant. Had calamari with jalapenos appetizer, barely enough for two people, not hot, not tasty. Ordered 3 rolls sets. Flimsy. Rice was a bit dry, as if it had been sitting for a while. Had to ask for small plates, and soy sauce, wasabi and ginger. Had to ask for check after sitting casually talking for an hour, again no more than 6 parties the whole time was there. May be a fun place for locals to drink and eat, but I've had better rolls at Safeway deli. I would imagine owner/operator would not know this was happening, nor appreciate the damage being done reputationally by afternoon crew. Won't...

We have dined here in the past and have had similar experiences to what happened this last time. As soon as we were seated, we said we wanted the spicy edamame. We got our drinks and placed the rest of our order. 25 minutes later, still no edamame. We finally got it after 30+ minutes. It takes 30+ minutes to steam edamame and toss it in spicy mayo?

Pet peeve - they NEVER EVER EVER bring all the food out all at once!!! Cooked food usually come out first. Sushi next but not even close in timing. One time, my wife basically finished her chicken dish before my sushi even came because it would have gotten cold. This time she got her two sushi rolls one at a time and then about 10 minutes later, I finally got my sashimi combo plate. Why such a delay? Newsflash!! People like to dine TOGETHER instead of sitting there and watching the other person eat.

NOTE: This is the only sushi restaurant I have ever been to where there is no sushi bar in the dining room so you can't see any of the fish or see it being prepared by a sushi chef. It's all done in the kitchen! Kinda odd...

On the plus side, the food is actually pretty decent once you get it. I am just losing interest to go back again because of the consistently poor...

Horrible customer service/don’t order online I ordered my food online at 5:50ish and it said it would be ready by 6:15. I get there at 6:15 I told one lady I was there to pick up an order she told she would have it right out. Four different people asked me the same question of what was the name under through the next 15 minutes. After 5 more minutes of awkward stares and no update on my food I asked the same lady where my food was at and she said in a rude tone that they were bagging it right now. 5 minutes later my food was finally ready. I honestly think they start preparing the food when you get there. I understand if they are busy and can’t get to my order right away but please talk to me! Keep me updated instead awkwardly ignoring how long I...

Totally disappointed with this place! 1) Dirty, filthy menus 2) 45-MIN WAIT for food when only 2 couples dining in the restaurant 3) Servers disappear for long periods of time 4) To-go order took another 30 minutes after ordering 5) Fruit flies at our table (across the room from the bar) The staff is nice enough but whoever is managing this place knows NOTHING about how to manage a restaurant. The sushi is mediocre, some of it was room temp once it arrived while other platters had firmer sushi. In carrying our $15 takeout order of Orange Chicken home, it was clearly more of a $7.50 lunch order based on the amount of food included, and the flavor was mediocre at best. We will not go here again and recommend others find a better sushi experience elsewhere.

The fatty cuts of beef in the teriyaki dish were squishy and I'm almost certain that the "spicy tuna roll" was not tuna, but salmon, as it was the wrong color. The waitress forgot the first part of our order despite only having a few tables on a Friday night. The cocktails were LA prices with what tasted like bottom shelf liquor and the tempura was too oily. Don't get me wrong...I ate and drank it all without sending anything back because it tasted good, but expected much better quality for the price paid.

Went in and got some take out for lunch. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this place. The bartender who took my order was extremely friendly and shared lots of info about the restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice and cozy, we'll definitely be coming back here for dinner. My lunch sushi was amazing! My boyfriend is a chef and has spoiled my taste buds a bit and I could really taste all the high quality/house made ingredients that really set them apart.
