We usually visit about once a month and really enjoy the fruit-flavored bobas⦠theyāre typically great. Today, I decided to try something different and asked about the matcha options and which flavor was most popular. The staff recommended the banana, so I gave it a try.
Unfortunately, it tasted artificial, like fake banana, which I personally canāt stand. I politely asked if it was made with real banana and mentioned that it didnāt taste right. I was told it was real banana and they couldnāt replace it. The employee apologized and said itās their least popular drink (even though she recommend it) and then walked away into the back. There was no attempt to make things right, which was disappointing, especially for a $6 drink.
It would be really helpful if the menu clearly stated which drinks use real fruit and which use artificial flavoring. Also, when I used the bathroom, there was a half-dead cockroach right in front of the toilet, which was really off-putting.
