Native Grill & Wings — Restaurant in Phoenix

We were at Native Grill & Wings for lunch today 2/4/2022. The staff and food is good and we try to go regularly. The one thing I wish they would do is when they give you a sauce is ask what type of sauce you would like. Hot, medium, mild or no sauce. It seems to me that the sauce I would consider hot is actually medium according to the girl that served us today. The sauce looks very much like a Catalina dressing. I didn’t try dressing before I put it on. If my wife hadn’t been able to exchange meals with me mine would have been wasted.

For us who are spice adverse it will make a BIG difference.

05/12/2023. update. We drop by mid afternoon for wings and a drink. The wings were very good. We ordered lemon pepper and honey BBQ. The wings were meaty and the sauce was not over powering or spicy. The wings were served with celery and ranch dressing. We were asked if we would also like blue cheese dressing. The wings were ordered by the number of wings. We ordered 15 between Joe and myself. There was also 1/2 price draft 🍺. The food wings were served hot. The service was very good 😊. The restaurant has TV’s on all the walls and we were asked if we would like to see any special sporting events. That was 😎. Lots of free parking and the location...

We have been to the Native location on Desert Foothills and Chandler Blvd many times before. However, this is the first time that we have been disappointed with the service. We went for lunch to enjoy the wings and salad combos. On this particular instance, we happened to have a coupon for $5.00 off when you spend $30.00. Upon presenting the coupon (picture attached) to the server, he informed us that we had to order the listed item that was above each location. I have been using coupons my entire adult life, and I have never heard of this! The coupon simply lists the locations that the coupons were honored at. The item above each location is not what you have to order at each one. The server's response was ridiculous! No where on the coupon did it make that statement. It is $5.00 for heaven's sake! This place has some pretty tasty food, I don’t have pictures but my first visit to this particular location did try a burger and fries and it was really good. The pizza is very good, super hot, fresh and delicious. Unfortunately for me I’m really picky when it comes to my food and twice I have ordered hot wings (hot Buffalo) with pizza and each time (separate visits) (two times) the hot wings had hair on them. No I’m not sure if it was human hair or hair from the chicken wings but that grossed me out regardless of which or where the hair came from and for it being the second time I won’t be going back to this location again. I have visited a separate location and I did not experience that problem there. But all together the food is good and it is normal priced for...
