Yum! We stopped in here today for lunch. The restaurant is on the smaller side with a patio. We ordered the chicken teriyaki for my daughter, a heart attack roll, a tiger roll and an Alaska roll.
The teriyaki was excellent and the chicken was tender. It was served with broccoli, asparagus and white rice.
The heart attack roll was deep fried was spicy tuna, avocado, cream cheese, jalapeño with spicy Mayo and eel sauce. It was divine.
The tiger roll is a California roll topped with shrimp and eel sauce. I didn't try this one but my boyfriend loved it.
The Alaska roll is a California roll topped with salmon and ponzu sauce. It was so good! The salmon was excellent and very fresh.
For dessert, we had strawberry mochi ice cream! Always a great option. They offer green tea and vanilla as well.
Service was good. I do wish they would clear plates when we finish them but the food is...
Read moreVery very sad. Went on a Friday not super busy. We were a party of 4 people. Sat down and waiting 15 min for anybody to offer us drinks. Once they offered us drinks we asked for food at the same time because we knew something was up. 45 min later food showed up but to another table where they touched it (thee other customers) and then they tried bringing it to us to eat after they touched it. 10 min later they brought our food. Not once not even once did anyone apologize for this and we still were charged full price and I still tipped because that's what I was taught to do. Might be one of thee worst sushi experiences I've ever had. Sushi is mediocre at best. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I'm sorry but I need to be honest for others who might...

At Shinko, the fish is okay at best (not great). The service is decent, which is a shortcoming at Nakano, but the price to food quality ratio is just not great. I ordered two standard sashimi choices (salmon and yellowtail), a basic side salad, and the least expensive ($16) sake and my bill was $56 plus tip. That’s a bit steep. I have also visited for lunch and best I can tell they have no lunch combos or specials. $45 for lunch, really? I hope they come up with some specials, and combos or I don’t see them surviving. I hope I am wrong, but I think this will be...
