Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

We had wanted to try them but had never found the time.

Family members were coming over for dinner and the games, and asked if we could order from there.

We took them up on their request and went there to order a couple of family sized pizzas to bring home to cook.

We ordered a double pepperoni with extra cheese and garlic Alfredo sauce.

The other, pepperoni, beef, onion, bell pepper and extra cheese, regular sauce,...both regular crust.

We cooked them according to their instructions and they came out fine.

The quality and taste were adequate but certainly nothing to write home about.

They were meticulous in their portion control to a fault, and for their prices, I found that very discouraging to their pizza preparation.

If they were serving alcoholic beverages, a bartender's jigger shot, wouldn't be coming your way, that's for sure.

Overall, I found their pizzas over priced, barely adequate in taste, and not worth the cost, nor the time to bake them yourself.

Even Little Caesars puts out a better pizza overall and for a cheaper price ...

Papa Murphy's on Union Hills and 32nd St Their website states they have enhanced safety measures for the health and wellbeing of guests and team members. One of which is the proper use of face masks and gloves in each of their locations. Based upon the information I read I placed an online order tonight, which was my first time at Papa Murphy's. Which is also my last. When I arrived not one employee had a mask on!!! Really, they are preparing food and not wearing a mask to protect their customers?? So much for safety measures, makes me wonder what other safety and cleanliness issues are not being followed??? Since i prepaid for the pizza along with a tip I took the pizza home and placed it in the trash. What a waste of time, food and money! If your are remotely concerned about your health and safety I would strongly encourage you to not patronize this restaurant. I'm not going to preach about Covid but it's real and still out there! Five of my friends have had Covid in the past 3 months (all were vaccinated). I'm just trying to be as safe as possible as I'm sure many of your are...

The 1 star is for my recent experience. I would normally rate this location with 4-5 stars, but I recently had some poor customer service. I am a frequent patron of this store and usually get great service there. My recent visit though, I left without a pizza. I am part of the text club and take advantage of many of the text offers I receive. The one that I recently tried to use came as an online order offer. The problem is that the online menu is not the full menu and my favorite pizza is not on there. The counter girl was unwilling to just look at the offer on my phone and take my order (which has been done for me before). Her unhelpful and unyielding attitude ticked me off and I left without a pizza. I am not usually a review writer, but I guess it's true that a person will tell many people about a bad experience and stay quiet about the good ones. I will go back, as most of my experiences have been great, but I may turn around and leave if I see that non-helpful customer (non)service young lady behind the counter.
