Pei Wei Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in Phoenix

Updated on June 03, 2022: I decided to visit the restaurant again for a really late lunch. I dined in this time. I had the Jet Tila Firecracker Chicken; salad greens; and an order of (2) piece crab wontons. My food was delicious. I felt like this specific entree was more of what I like. A balanced combination of sweet and spicy. I liked the use of crab in the wontons. My meal was filling and could have been split into two servings, but I wanted to finish my entire meal.

Thank you to the restaurant owner for reaching out to me via a reply on Google. That shows me you and your restaurant care about your customers' satisfaction.

Update 02/23/2024: The service was okay but I wish they would just ask for the order number for pickups as that would be easier than going over items in the order. I ordered a couple of side salads with my entrees. The dressings were very thick as if they had not been emulsified correctly which is unappetizing. They used to be more of a vinegrette. Also, I did not see any sauces out by the utensils and napkins as there usually are. I was given (2) soy sauces...

Took my family out to eat and this place is a HOT MESS. We walked in and the place was extremely stuffy. We ordered and our server was a newbie. To hear the way they talked to her was ridiculous and embarrassing. She was doing her best and she did need a little help ringing up our order but that’s understandable, she’s new. We ordered the new share plate or whatever it was called. It feeds 3 people w different options. We sat got our drinks and waited. Food arrived and it looked amazing.. we started to eat and SWEAT at the same time, some officers that came to relax and eat even complained. We were all trying to fan ourselves and eat at the same time. Not cool at all. So uncomfortable and with it being PHOENIX with a HEAT WARNING you should of had some type of air circulating in that place. Anyway, we all served our food and began to eat. PLAIN!!! TASTELESS!!! ODORLESS!!! DRY!!! Dry like the 🌵DESERT! Service is amazing. The manager at this location is very professional and can tell takes her job seriously. My complaint is not with her or the service as a whole. My complaint is the quality of the food this time around. There's about a 70% chance I get food poisoning tonight based on what I had for lunch here. The chicken in the dish I ordered was extremely rubbery and needed a solid 3-4 minutes to cook. Unfortunately, I ate a piece that I definitely should've spit out that tasted completely raw. It was beyond rubbery to the point of almost being crunchy on the inside. After I ate this, I looked at other pieces of chicken and noticed that most of them were pink on the inside.
