Phx Eats Tacos — Restaurant in Phoenix

Came to this establishment for the very first time. The gentleman in the very front (Thomas I believe) was very ummm… passionate about nacho cheese not going on the fries. lol he said I would have to pay an extra $5 because “that’s what his boss would tell him”. The fries are $3. I’ve never seen anyone so frustrated with a customer wanting a side. He told me he would charge me $12.50 for nacho fries and take off everything but the cheese (meat, guac, etc). I was trying to understand how this made sense but he was very annoyed. Stated “that’s how this works in restaurants”. I’ve literally never had such an in depth conversation/argument about nacho cheese in my life. lol customer service gets a zero for me. The establishment is very quaint but cute. Prices are a little high. Especially for cheese apparently. I wanted to try the tacos but I opted not to patronize further than the $3 fries for my daughter. lol not a good first impression. I...

Wow... wish I would have found this place sooner... after a month in Phoenix, I tried a lot of the well-known taco shops, Taco Chiwas, Taco Boys, Ta Carbon... this place blows them all out of the water! Delicious and chubby tacos. The shredded beef is phenomenal. The #2 Combo can't be beat.. three tacos, rice and beans... tacos on a bed of homemade tortilla chips.. AND a milkshake for $13.75...
