Best sub I've had in the valley! Stopped in for lunch with a couple friends and the owner gave us some great recommendations. The bread is soooo soft and you get tell the quality of the meat/cheese is fresh! I got the Italian (#1 seller) and the voodoo chips are to die for. The owner also mentioned they are doing renovations/rebranding in the coming months so we will definitely be back soon!! Rating: 12/10

You gotta try this place! I was in town visiting from Miami, and wow, it's an upgrade from Jimmy John's. The service was great, and the owner, Rich, clearly enjoys what he does and delivers it with a smile. I love the bread and how they have kept the traditional recipe from the original owners. Thank you, I'll be back!

Food is ON PAR. Pictured is their Tuesday club sub/mac n cheese special. Service an food were very good, definitely stop in an try one of their wraps or sandwiches. Price is a little high but understandable due to the freshness of their food. The Mac was from a box but ok 👍

Checked out The Sub Shake today with a couple friends, and let me just say: this place is sub-lime. Hands down one of the best sandwich spots in Arizona and that’s coming from someone who treats carbs like a love language.

The guy working the counter? Absolute legend. Friendly, funny, and had the kind of energy that makes you want to tip extra and invite him to Friendsgiving.

The food? Incredible. Fresh bread, bold flavors, generous portions, and not a single soggy tomato in sight. Oh, and reasonably priced, which in this economy is basically an act of public service.

The vibes? Immaculate. The hoagies? Life-changing. The regret? Nonexistent.

If you’re anywhere near Papago Park (or honestly, even if you’re not), do yourself a favor and go get shaken up in the best way.

Final verdict: 10/10 would put that hoagie in my mouth again! Support local. Eat the sandwich. Live your truth. And if you moan a little while eating it? Don’t worry,they...

Don’t waste your money here. The store is dark and uninviting, the sandwiches are bland and overpriced, and the menu is misleading. The lady here was condescending and rude and didn’t inform me that despite the several choices for bread, she only had white bread when I requested wheat. She also didn’t inform me that hot sandwiches weren’t toasted and said they didn’t have a toaster, all of which she told me after I paid. If I had known any of this I would have taken my money elsewhere to begin with. I spent $40 on two sandwiches and the experience is disappointing at best. This is my first visit and will also be my last....

The bread at this sub shop is truly what sets it apart. No toasting needed, I promise. My GF and I were in town for a few days and went twice because everything was so good. We tried the Italian Supreme on garlic herb, BLT and the Southwest Chicken Bacon on garlic parm bread, the bread was fresh, perfectly prepared, and incredibly filling. It's not just a vehicle for the filling, it's a star in its own right. We also loved hearing the fun fact about the history behind their bread recipe, it adds a nice personal touch to the experience. Highly recommend stopping by for a delicious and...
