This was my second ever visit to any Raising Cane's location, first time at this one. My first experience was years ago when they were brand new to the Phoenix area. It wasn't great, but I chalked it up to growing pains and kind of forgot about it. I was looking for a quick lunch and saw this location, so I decided to give them another shot. As soon as I walked in the door, I was uncomfortable. It was freezing inside, the music was loud, and there are three disco balls throwing lights around the dining area. This is obviously a deliberate aesthetic decision by the owner, I'm sure they got the atmosphere they wanted. But it's not an atmosphere I want to eat food in. I assume this is a standard Raising Cane's thing, so probably similar at all locations. It was a nice day out and their patio is nice, so I ordered and took my food outside. I ordered the three strip combo, comes with fries, a drink, Texas toast, and a cup of their sauce. As soon as I looked at the chicken strips, I regretted paying $11. They were tiny and sad looking. I picked one up and it was limp (pictures) and that was the best looking one. Dive bars all over the Valley do chicken strips way better than this and it's an afterthought to them. These had no crunch, no flavor, nothing redeeming. Well, I was thankful for their tiny size after I finished. The Cane's sauce isn't my thing, I'm sure a lot of people enjoy it though. The fries were okay, about half were soggy and half were crispy, all crispy would be better. The Texas toast was present. The iced tea was good. Just a very bad food experience, overpriced and low quality. I won't be giving the chain a third try unless I hear about some major overhauls to their operation. I will say the staff was super friendly, and the restaurant (including the patio)...
Read moreI will say that Cane's has never been my favorite, I just don't think the chicken is amazing... but I still do occasionally crave the sauce it's dipped in and their texas toast is great.
I did a takeout order, went in, picked it up and everything looked food. I noticed my Coke I ordered looked light colorwd and thought to myself I hope it isn't watered down but in the moment just a passing thought.
When I got home I realized there was no syrup in the coke. I worked in the fast food industry like many of us in our lifetimes and it is clear when a drink is being filled when it is out of syrup.
In the restaurant, easy fix. But sure does suck to get home and not have that... I wouldn't normally resort to a google review for this but the other bad thing is I dont see a way to leave feedback in the app.
It all left a bad taste in my...

Placed an order for a Caniac Combo via Drive Thru. Requested the coleslaw be subbed for Toast, asked that the toast be toasted on both sides. Requested for honey mustard and an additional side of honey mustard.
When received order at the window, only received a single cup of honey mustard. Had to call attendant back to provide another. Made it seem like I hadn't asked for the cup when I very explicitly did. Cup provided, but definitely felt as though I had somehow inconvenienced them for making a very direct request they failed to fulfill.
When I opened my order more I found that only one of my toasts was toasted on both sides.
This feels as though making any kind of request outside of the standard menu item is far too much to ask...
