Very well kept & clean. Great place to enjoy the outdoors in the middle of the city. Take time to walk all around to discover some history. Take a snack & sit by the little lake & listen to the birds & ducks. They are very used to humans so if you sit close to water, expect company. Two separate dog areas, one for big dogs & a separate space for the little ones. Take advantage of an early morning as it gets a little warm in the afternoons right now. A little oasis in the city. A spacious playground for the kids, basketball & sand volleyball courts too.

Nice park but very poorly planned for events, no parking and the nearby scalpers are charging $10 and up to provide parking. At the event (Japanese Matsuri) there were some people collecting signatures... An altercation ensued between an organizer and one of those people. What a mess it was with the amount of people and not enough portable bathrooms..

What a great place to visit and BBQ! It was kind of windy today but overall successful! If you're a dog lover this is the place! Dad's playing with their kids, lovers having picnics, it was quite the motion picture! Me with my music and BBQ, oh yeah and they have public restrooms and waterfountains, no fee to get in! Winning!

This playground has two sections, both of which are encircled with a sidewalk. The floor is sand and certain sections is red foam- very cushy but worn out in some places. I don't recall seeing any benches, but there are some ramadas that you can hang out in and cool off in. One of the play area sections is not shaded and it has some sand-colored slides and bridges. There also were some toddler swings. The other section is shaded and pretty much had the same layout of slides and bridges; there were regular swings on that side. There are no monkey bars. The play equipment colors were kind of meh and I also saw some litter...

Love this park, Now with this covid its changed but my nieces love the ducks, can go fishing. Walk around the park for excercise, used to have a playground for children they have BBQ grills, picnic tables for a cook-out with friends or family. They used have a lot of activities going on certain days, Events like Concerts, Indian traditions tribal dancing, Pride festival, Scottish Festival, Highland games, Park is still amazing.. Until we see you again when covid ends....
