Splurge Ice Cream & Candy Shop — Restaurant in Phoenix

I should have listened to the reviews. No service at all. Waited several minutes with 3 kids in a warm small room that smelled like hot dogs. I went into the restaurant, the staff are hanging out behind the counter chatting. No thanks. Would have spent a lot too on the candy, toys and ice cream. Thx for ruining what we thought would be a fun stop, we were going to do breakfast here and I'm glad we didn't. I told everyone before my trip I would stop here too. Customer service is key people. And frankly I don't want ice-cream from a warm smelly room either. And I don't like leaving negative reviews but...

We saw their fancy shakes online and drove 30 minutes to get the unicorn shake for our daughter. When we went in an hour before closing they had the unicorn all over their screens, but they said they had closed up their ice cream. So we again drove the 30 minutes the next day just to be told they didn't make the unicorn. Why did they advertise it and then not tell us. Both times we walked in we were ignored by the workers. It looks like a fun place, but don't get your hopes up and prepare...
