Sun Star Buffet — Restaurant in Phoenix

I'm a very picky when it comes to my buffet's especially my chinese buffet cuz that probably my most favorite food on earth overall for the price it was not terrible but no where near one my favs first and foremost my favorite teriyaki chicken was very very very disappointing I mean meat on a stick dry and pretty much if any what teriyaki flavor they supposedly had I couldn't taste it and on top of it how can u have teriyaki chicken but no teriyaki sauce overall disappointing and really need to add to there dessert menu again u get what u pay for mediocre price for somewhat mediocre food I personally probably won't come back...

We stopped here to eat after Google searching close places to eat. Came in around 5 o'clock we paid for all you can eat for a party of three and only spent 36.00 and the food was delicious. Everything I had was very fresh and flavorful. I couldn't believe that I was having all you can eat Chinese! I would go here again and again. Everything is self-serve so there isn't any waitresses bothering the table except to pick up empty dishes and that's it. So, it's a great place to meet up with friends. Sun Star has been one of my go to spots for some time now. Not the nicest part of town but nothing major. They do takeout by the pound or eat in at the buffet. The quality is just as good as your average Chinese Buffet but for much less. I would actually put it above your random Chinese Buffet quality wise. Price is like 7 or 8 and that includes self serve drink. I think their per pound is 3.49 / lb. Not a place to take a date by any means but if your looking for a good cheap Chinese Buffet...
