It was our first time here, and upon arrival, I knew it was going to be great when I saw the head sushi chef is Japanese. Coincidentally, today was international sushi day and I didn’t know until I saw a sign for it when we were at our table. What drew us in was the all day happy hour and the reviews. Don’t let the location deter you, the ambiance was quaint and very typical Japanese-esque, the fish was fresh, and they were such healthy and generous portions. The rolls are stuffeddd with ingredients, and it’s not overly packed with rice. I only photographed the salmon avocado roll bc look at this ratio?! Anyway, the service was five stars, the wait time for food was quick (there were 4 other tables at the time we were there just before 6pm), and the woman and the kid server were kind and attentive. We got 5 rolls, 3 on HH and 2 not on HH, and they were all delicious. The mixed tempura was also really fresh, hot, and crispy, and I liked how as soon as we ordered the mixed tempura, our server confirmed we were okay that it came with 2 shrimp and I think 4 vegetables, so we knew exactly what was coming.

Overall, a great experience, great prices and decent selection of rolls on happy hour. My personal favorite is always just the salmon avocado rolls and they weren’t on HH, but it’s only $8.99. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area. Thank...

Small Japanese restaurant where you feel the authenticity from the moment you open the door. Genuinely, it feels like I step into a different country as soon as I walk in. The family running it speaks Japanese first, English second, and I'm pretty sure they run the place like they're still in Japan. They didn't adapt their culture, so adapt your expectations of the experience. Don't expect a fake smile, that's not the culture. Don't expect small talk, that's not the culture. Don't expect everything to be brightly lit for excitement, it's cozy and designed for conversation. What you can expect is some of the best sushi in Phoenix, at a price that I was able to afford on the tightest budget. For 2 people, under $25 is actually a reasonable expectation. Possibly under $20. And if you're not into sushi, the rest is amazing, too. I've been back over a dozen times, and I'm going to keep going back for...

A friend and I went today for dinner on a whim, as she lives around the corner and had heard good things. Those good things were definitely true!

The price for appetizers could not be beat, and the price of each roll is exactly what you would expect from any decent, non-highend sushi restaurant.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to answer any questions. The food was delicious! Together we ordered 4 rolls, the spicy garlic edamame and gyoza. Everything was delicious!

While I expect gyoza to be pork unless otherwise specified, I did appreciate that the waiter made sure that we knew they were pork.

The lunch specials were priced really well, and they have good happy hour prices on a lot of 'regular' rolls.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Sushi Bros to people, and will definitely go back if...

I'm a little hesitant to post this but this sushi spot deserves props! I found this place during the pandemic when my old sushi spot started having spotty hours. SUSHI BROS always does an amazing job, no matter what I'm craving/order. I looove their Crazy Avocado and that's why we went this time but I tried their Unagi Don and it was superb! The eel was crispy with a nice smoky flavor and the ratio to the rice was perfect. Rice had just enough eel sauce and there wasn't any added "fluff" (i.e. mixed greens, avocado). All I wanted was unagi and rice ... thank you for making an AMAZING dish! Udon was tasty as always, noodles bouncy and plentiful! Fried ice cream is unique but super yummy! I've brought several friends to this spot over the years and they continue to visit this hidden gem as well.

Just discovered this place while out running errands. Now, I have been to sushi places all around the world, this is hands down some of the best sushi I have ever had. If you are new to sushi- Vegas Roll and Sweet Thang Roll are Amazing deep fried rolls (pictured). My family and I love to split the Dynamite. Crazy Avacado is also delicious. I prefer the original Philly Roll as opposed to the Golden Philly or Philly Crunch. In the attached photos are- Sweet Thang Roll, Golden Philly, Dynamite in the Bowl, and Las Vegas and Philly Crunch. If you have never been here, try about 3 things, it's all good.
