These were the BEST tacos I've had, since I left Mexico City. I am so happy I could cry I live in Tucson and obviously, LOVE Mexican food... but this restaurant is THE BEST I've had in the USA. HANDS DOWN. I got Tripe, Lengua and a beef tripe mix. I am poor atm; the food is so affordable and DELICIOUS! When I get paid; I am sooo getting the steak tacos I smelt cooking Ugh. I will be coming back here; a FEW times before I leave Phoenix. Everything in the picture; was bliss. The Aguacate (Avocado) salsa is mild and delicious The Salsa Roja is nice and spicy. The chili is spicy for desert!!! Such a special meal after a long week God bless!!!

I drove strait from work to this restaurant. I had promised myself a treat for a week's work. I have to say this place is perfect. AMAZING TACOS!! I love this flavors of meat, the finely chopped vegetables, the doubled up tortillas, the salsa!! I had the lorenza very delicious. I went back the next day to chow down! Very friendly staff. I highly recommend stopping here. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The bakery next door is delicious stop by the bread is always fresh.

We were super disappointed in this food truck because the restaurant was absolutely delicious. But the food from the food truck is more expensive and super salty. They forgot part of our order and I was already gone before I checked it so that was my bad but the food was super salty and the carne asada was over cooked and hard and not seasoned well. Would definitely not recommend to go the food truck. I’m sad the actual restaurant closed. The food was not worth the price!

As a BLACK woman I will not be going back. #1 their tacos are not the best in Arizona I give for the tacos alone 3 out of 5. #2 I eat out at least 4 times a week and I am a good tipper, I don't look like one but I am, with that being said I was gonna make them my number one spot just for the the potato meat and cheese dish because I have a 7 month old who loves potatoes, unfortunately I won't be going back with all the PREJUDICES going about I feel they should have been more welcoming especially to those whom are not within ethnic origin, the moment I walked through the door I received an UGLY ASS look from one of the workers. I will not spend MY MONEY with them anymore as a BLACK WOMAN. I take my BLACK ass some place else. TAKE WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN $60/ WEEK PLUS TIPS SOME...

We pulled off the 10 in bumper to bumper with the sun directly in my eyes. We were desperate for food and a break. The fast food joints across the street smelled terrible and looked worse. El Compadre is a strip mall Taqueria. The waitress was sweet and spoke no English. Fortunately we speak some Spanish. The food was muy auténtico if a bit on the greasy side. I asked her if she got gringos here very often. She said very seldom. There was another worker there who's English was fine. We had tacos. They came with grilled onions and a big jalapeño, fresh cucumber, radish, and boiled carrot slices. Good salsa, no chips. Mission...
