People do not be fooled. This is most definitely one of those hole in the wall places in all of the phx metro area although the outside may seem a little ghetto. But THIS place is AMAZING! If you are looking for quality, fresh mariscos this is definelty up there of my list. My absolute favorite food has always been mariscos and I have tried many many marisco places around the WORLD. So I have quite the experiance and know what i am talking about when it comes to this type of food.

I am extremely picky with my oysters. And after trying oysters at many other places, I must say no one has fresher oyster, hints the name "rey de los ostiones" (king of the oysters) I refuse to eat oysters anywhere else. Because it has really just been a disappointment trying them else where. And although the oysters are in my opinion their specialty their other marisco products such as ceviche, shrimp cocktail, aguachiles are all also quite delicious. My must get every single time is definitely the prepared oysters. Which is oysters with Ceviche on them. They are the best! Fyi you have an option of buying oysters by the piece, which is so cool. Because you can buy 1 for 1.50 and if you do not like it you only spent that much. Instead of going to most places that only take orders or 12 sometimes 6. And your stuck paying for all of them weather you like them or not. This is such a cool option that you'll get here that I have never seen elsewhere.

Also, make sure that you ask for their house hot sauce which is unique and also very good! (You can also buy some and they will put it in a bottle for you)

Another great part about this place that I really love is that it is a family owned business. Most of the time you will see that the entire family is there working! The son weighing out stuff, the dad washing dishes, the daughters serving and taking orders, the mom making food, and all just working together collaboratively as a family to get the job done. It is definitely a beauty to see. So not only are you going to enjoy some high quality mariscos you also support a local family owned business which is awsome!

Their customer service is always extremely amazing! They all always have smile on their face and serve you with such politeness and compassion for their customers.

If I had to pick 1 downfall. Because I can only think of 1. Is that you cannot drink alcohol at this location. They do sell beer at the location but they do not allow you to consume it. I am sure the required additional requirements and permits that they might not have so it's quite understandable. Although mariscos are best enjoyed with beer for most people.

They do take orders to go. Just incase your in a hurry and they will pack everything for you very nicely.

Fyi- I have gone to this place several times, and not just on one occasion. So I write this review with atleast 15 visits and not based on one...

If you guess how much these very simple corn quesadillas cost, I will buy you a quesadilla, ha! Well I’m sure no one would ever guess cause the price is ridiculous!! They where $8, no meat, just cheese, very simple corn, burnt quesadillas. We ordered these for our girls and they didn’t even eat them. The mariscos are good but the prices are a bit high on certain things, so make sure to check sizes before you order cause if not you’ll be in shock like me. Love, love, love this place! If your a seafood lover like myself do yourself a FLAVOR and stop in! Eat in or shop the counter and take your favorites home. I'v always gone for the take home oysters but recently tried their shrimp cocktail...Mmmm so good and great amount of shrimp for the price!!
