I would give no stars however, 11/29/24 I went through drive thru with my boss, her drink was wrong and gross too ...... however I requested a HOT Macchiato ( there is only one way to make this no matter where in world you are ) then I asked for an extra shot extra caramel drizzle, not hard this is not a hard drink at all. I didnt order some stupid starbucks drink with non fat , extra whip blah blah foo foo drink.
When I got to the window, I was handed a iced drink , expresso and caramel . I stopped didn't even bring up the fact it was hot not iced, dealt with that, I asked if there was milk or cream in there, she actually told me the expresso makes it look like there is none. I Asked for a straw, got the straw , stirred the drink , no cream , I even took a drink EWW bitter AF . She said she can remake it I said , all you had to do was add milk or cream I just dont want a bitter expresso I like it sweet. It does not matter how I like it , its on your menu make it properly .
I am so irritated that you owners and people working here have no integrity anymore. You expect us to pay 7.00 for coffee and you cant even make it right. It is simple , if you have a menu item , a specific way of making a coffee make it the right way. Have consistency. I do not usually do this but not only did the cashier treat me like I didn't know anything about coffee and that it just comes that way , she just asked me if I wanted half and half to make it the color I wanted. I said just put some cream or milk in it whatever. I got it back still dark and bitter nothing was actually fixed. I PAID TO MAKE MY OWN DRINK. You all will not last if this is how your treating customers and I am just angry I even paid for it. Stay consistent, give customers what they ask for, and train your staff to not be so irritatingly young minded having no actual customer service skills. Stop being emotional when a customer does not like something or you messed it up. Just FIX IT do not roll eyes, do not act like I am an issue, just dont. Or get the heck out of food industry. It is a hospitality role , if your not very hospitable then stop applying stop doing these jobs. You are ruining it for the good owners potentially that trust you...
Read moreI used to love this place, until recently. I spent about $20 a week on smoothies for me and my family during our ’family day’ for the past 3 years. For those 3 years, things were fine.
During one of my busy work days last week I had enough time to stop by and purchase a strawberry banana smoothie before having to go home and finish up 3 meetings for work. I got home and learned that I was given the incorrect smoothie. The color was right, but the ingredients were wrong. The wrong fruit was used and it contained cow’s milk instead of the almond milk I requested. No big deal (but kind of since I have a milk allergy), I gave the smoothie to my wife and figured I would just call the next day due to being busy that day with meetings and two kids. I called the following day and respectfully explained that I was not given what I ordered and wondered how it could be fixed. I was told that policy states that the customer has to come back the same day and has to bring the drink back to the store in order for them to fix the mistake that was made by them. So not only did they get a simple order wrong, but they then want to inconvenience you by forcing you to come back the same day, due to policy, (regardless if you live 20 minutes away and regardless if you have a busy workday) otherwise you forfeit the opportunity to get what you pid for.
Starbucks on the other hand gave me the wrong order a couple of months ago. I called to explain the situation and they apologized and told me that the next time I came back to ask for a particular manager who would provide me with the right drink. I wasn’t able to make it back to that store for a week due to work obligations, but they still honored their word :) I don’t really care for Starbucks’ drinks either, but I plan on going there from now on (or Black Rock) because I know that if I don’t get what I paid for that Starbucks will at least make it right and won’t focus so much on policy. Policy is what loses customers, especially when the mistake is on the company.

Read moreI have been going to this location for since it opened and have had no issues, but my last two visits have been horrible....the encounters with the staff on Fridays and Saturdays are far from good. The time to go thru with only 4 cars is longer than the wait to go through during the week with 10 cars. The staff spend more time arguing with me than it would take to re-make my drink. I have ended up taking the wrong drink just to stop arguing with the children making the drink. I don't order anything difficult, but when I am paying $8 for a coffee, I want it to be right. Here is an example of my experience.... I order a 32oz cold brew with Snowy and hazelnut flavor.. when I get to the window, I get a cold brew with white chocolate flavor and hazelnut flavor. I tell the person at the window that I ordered it with snowy and this is when the argument starts. They state that it has snowy, I tell them that it does not and go through the explanation of what snowy is and how it differs from what they are trying to give me. They continue to argue with me about this and try telling me that snowy and white chocolate flavor are the same. Since they opened this location, they have made my drink perfectly with no issues, but this new staff is more interested in arguing with me than doing their job right. I tried to call Bill, which is supposed to be the contact for the phoenix locations, only to leave a voice-mail with no return call. It has been 2 weeks since leaving the voice-mail. update* Since leaving my review, though I never heard back from Bill, I was able to speak to the manager. I gotta say, she was amazing to speak with. As well as the asst. Manager. Both were very kind and I feel the issue may be resolved. Thank you for taking the time to hear my concerns. I will continue to be a customer and recommend this location only because of the...
