CAPS Sports Grill — Restaurant in Phoenix

The restaurant is located in an industrial park. And I should really say it's a restaurant / sports bar but there is a good separation between the two eating areas. There is a good amount of TVs mounted on the walls so you'll have no problem catching the game while enjoying your food.

We went at 11am on a Monday and up until noon, we were the only ones there. Our waitress did point out that they get crowded especially around the happy hour time frame.

The wait staff. We were helped by Tonya (the owners daughter). You will not find a more helpful, friendly, beautiful smile in a 10 mile radius. She is the reason they got 4 stars and not 3.

The food. We went to Caps specifically for their wing menu. What is really cool about their selection of flavors is the you can customize your sauce and preparation.

Ordering wings at Caps is something you have to see for yourself. Very unique.

Why 4 stars? The wings, although very tasty could have been cooked a little longer. I get a little squeamish if I see any red at the bone. I mean they are cooked but again if I see just a little I'll throw them in the micro for a minute.

You can ask that they be cooked a little longer, so next Monday that is what I will ask for.

I was meeting a friend at a home in the neighborhood, was early for our appointment so went in to kill some time.

Upon arriving you get the feeling of a family oriented bar and grill of that makes any sense, on one side you got Booths and tables full of families etc. on the other end at the bar you got a very friendly and attentive bartender didn't catch her name but she was great and easy on the eyes! The drought veer deleting was supprisingly broad I had 3 different IPA's (I love craft beer) and came close to ordering food, before you now it my friend is calling me to meet. To make a long story short I would have most likely stayed drinking till close if I didn't have a prior engagement! The atmospher is great the service was awesome and the vibes throughly were nothing but positive . I plan on going back in the future to eat and of course drink. If your in the area it's a must try! This place is tucked out of the way and I had no idea it was there. My mom tried it with a friend a while back and took me and my family saying how Excellent the food is and she wasn't wrong. It is delicious! Nice sports bar to sit and watch the games. A cozy restaurant as well. The food is really good and I'm definitely going back soon. Everything we ordered was amazing. My son had the kids pizza and he enjoyed it, I ordered the club and it was great, and we had the loaded potato skins for appetizer. Potato skins were cooked perfectly and so tasty! Their onion rings are also some of the best I've ever had. Ordered the mild wings as well and they were fantastic! Service was good too and staff all very friendly. I'd pick this place over...
