I can't believe I have not left a review for one of my favorite places and safest spaces in the world! Walter where?house is more than just an amazing place to see and feel music and art, it's a special, sacred space that has been magically designed to create a beautiful community for artists and musicians to thrive and also a super safe place to enjoy music and art! There are at least 8 art cars inside the Walter where?house that you can climb aboard and dance the night away on. It's a burning man principle ran facility that incorporates the magic of burning man into a safe space for the whole world to enjoy. The owners Kirk and Mary have a true passion and mission to help artists and the community around them to grow and Walter where?house is the space they have created to bring it all together! The tickets are always affordable, the drinks are delicious and also affordable and the vibezzzz are always positive and friendly. There's a true sense of love and community inside these walls! There's an art gallery when you first walk in displaying local artists and their beautiful work there's lots of art cars inside. The main stage is set in front of kalliope art car! But the main art car that is the heart and soul of Walter is WALTER! Walter is an iconic Burning Man art car created by Walter Productions, known for its luminous appearance, massive size, and interactive features. It's a giant Volkswagen Bus built on the frame of a vintage Walter fire truck, featuring thousands of LEDs, a powerful sound system, and a misting system. Walter is a central part of the Walter Productions community, which also includes other art cars, a makerspace, and a gallery. Walter has a story to inspire everyone that sees him. He was a vintage Walter fire truck that Kirk and Mary found and saw that it was not the end of his Walter fire truck days but the beginning of him to shed his old shell and emerge from his old title and grow into something bigger and better to continue to help the world around him. Which is a beautiful message we all should remember when we feel like we are run down there's always room to rise from the ashes and rebuild bigger, stronger, and more beautiful than before and continue to remind and help others around to do the same. All of the art cars here hold a very special message that is created to inspire and remind everyone the beauty of perseverance and to always believe in yourself and to create something better for the future and the world around you! Walter has changed my life in ways I am trying to find the words to explain! This is a very healing special place I love with all my heart! I LOVE WALTER...
Read moreIt's literally impossible to have a less than amazing time here. That's what we told our friends before they flew in from around the country to come to the Where?House for New Years Eve. None of us knew the DJs, but I told them it doesn't matter, it will be amazing no matter what. Everyone who flew in agreed the W?H is the best venue they've ever been to.
My wife and I are nomadic, but make sure to come to the Where?House a few times every fall/winter. Staff is always super friendly, I always even have a big smile going through security and showing my tickets.
There's plenty of space for all the flow toys (poi, juggling, staff, hooping) adjacent to the bar area. The free water station is always kept stocked. There is so much space, and the crowd is so good for the most part that it's never any trouble to leave the dance floor and bring water back front and center to my group even on a sold out night like New Years Eve. There's always space to dance as hard as you want. Most people there are super friendly about giving each other space, dancing with each other, and making everyone's night better.
If we didn't want to dance so much every time we might spend more time in the many chill out zones in the various art cars. There's an entire art gallery. I'm never hungry but my friend was praising the food, and if you knew her you'd know that's high praise.
We like arriving early, supporting the openers, spinning poi a bit, explore and enjoying the open space. Around 10:30 the dance floor fills in. Usually the best spot is near front and center where people are really into the music and...

Stepping into Walter where?house was like entering an urban playground where art, music, and creativity collide. Originally a warehouse, this venue has been transformed into a multi-dimensional experience that goes far beyond a traditional concert space.
I attended an EDM concert that lit up the night with pulsating beats and immersive visuals. The stage setup was unique—whether you chose to be up close in front of the stage or soak in the energy from an elevated platform, every perspective offered a new way to experience the performance.
The venue itself is a treasure trove of creativity. Art exhibits pepper the space, each piece adding to the eclectic vibe, while converted old trucks serve as laid-back hangout spots, inviting you to relax and socialize. Fun touches like hula hoops and yard games scattered around the area transformed the night into a festive celebration of community and creativity.
Fueling the experience, there’s a food truck parked outside serving up tasty bites and a bar inside that kept the energy high with well-crafted drinks. Walter where?house isn’t just a music venue—it’s a dynamic space where art and play merge, making every visit an adventure.
Whether you’re an EDM enthusiast, an art lover, or just looking for a unique night out, Walter where?house delivers an unforgettable blend of sound, sight, and community spirit. Highly recommended for anyone ready to explore a creative...
