Well, this trip was a little disappointing. I ordered through the app, normally a good experience. This time, not so much. The app is fine, easy to navigate. You can customize your food, works well for me. The drive through at this location, or rather on this visit, sucked. Waited for a while at the speaker, told her I had a mobile order, and then nothing. I had to ask if they found the order, then after waiting a while longer, I asked if I should pull forward to the window. After a while she tells me I need to go to the window, she sounded annoyed. I get to the window, she tells me that I need to pay. I paid through the app, I said, she replied, oh you have a mobile order? I'm thinking, we just had this conversation, I'm the only one in the drive through! So, my son and I wait, I'm thinking drinks anytime now, nope, she keeps playing with the computer, talking to other co-workers. Not making our drinks. After about 6 min. or so, she tells me to pull around front and they'll bring me our food. I asked if I could have my drinks first, the ones she hadn't bothered to work on in the last 6 min. After a couple of more minutes, I get our 3 sodas and a chocolate milk, we pull around front. We waited another 10 or so minutes. We finally got out of there after a little more than 20 min. for a mobile order, placed ahead of time, and picked up in the drive through, and there was nobody else there when we arrived. They have a self order kiosk at the door which is not really very user friendly and then you meet the people and wish they were all replaced with machines—most of them act like it. The fries and the nuggets were older than most of the customers, and the chicken tasted like fish (so did the fries and nuggets. The best part of the bacon cheeseburger is the wrapper-so you can spit the greasy mess of a burger into it before you spew it all over the table. They not only messed up our order but then showed us very plainly that it was us, not they who placed the order and did not properly operate the kiosk—I remember when frosties were served in a cup instead of a thimble. Dave Thomas is spinning in his grave - and Wendy wants nothing to do with this joint…

Read moreThe new ordering kiosks (only ordering option - even if paying cash) are absolutely disgusting. Not only do they take the jobs from workers but they ARE HORRIBLE systems - they have issues sending orders and reset the screen, it seems, with every other order AND "take breaks" ... literally, the computer screen displays 'sorry, it's break time' but since the screen is on it's clearly not rebooting - just for looks or maybe an attempt to indoctrinate or trick our minds into them being employees???
The employees themselves are fantastic, food and pricing is good - overall WOULD have rated 4-5 stars but the (poorly performing and planned) automation ate the rest of the stars before I could even place my order. Will DEFINITELY go elsewhere for my Baconators in the future unless owners decide to...
