I would've given this Branch of the Hut a 5 last month. In fact I did so on the online survey I was sent last visit. But tonight was sub par, by far. I ordered a Big New Yorker, I know they hate making that pie because I was in store when I ordered last time and the very nice cashier (young lady) mentioned it, in spite of their groans, they made an incredible pie for me. By far the best pizza I have had since I left the West Coast, Bene Pizza/Parlor Pizza (best pies in Northwestern Washington) , and I finally felt that after years of garbage Dominoes and Little Caesars I finally found a suitable pizza from an unlikely place. This time though, I spoke with a nice guy, new delivery guy who had the Gumption to answer the phone and take my order. He had some assistance from someone else to ring it in, was simple: A Big New Yorker Old Style Pepperoni Pizza. I requested they take off the house Pepperoni and add "A whole mess of the cupping old style Pepperoni"(I would gladly pay extra for them), nice guy said 15 -20 minutes. Understanding he was new and it was a Friday night I gave em 45 minutes. When I got there, the pie was ready, and the cashier who grabbed the pizza asked if I wanted to check the pizza, so I opened the box to a Big New Yorker with 12 cupping pepperoni on it. It was sad. I was sad. I asked why they didn't put more on it, I was told I couldn't get extra pepperoni on the pizza... I've never heard that from a pizza place before, never been refused an upsale, never been sadder about a pizza... I will try this spot again, because I know they make the best pizza I've found since coming home. You can do better than this.
1/30/2025 Well, I tried it again, was excited to see tavern style pizza on the menu, so I placed an order, $70 later I get there and my order was on time as quoted, but I paid $24 for a large pepperoni pizza since they were out of cupping pepperoni that I paid extra to have double on my pie .. I won't be back .
Disclaimer: I consider myself an aficionado on very few things in my life, pizza being Chief amongst them. I'm also an...
Read moreI definitely will NOT be ordering from here again. The first time I made a 100. order with a 25. tip and they completely screwed it up... couldn't even get anyone on the phone even until the following day and didn't even offer to make it right. I mean why would I pay that much for a bunch of (speciality) supreme and meat lovers pizzas, to only get cheese and pepperoni pizzas. Then it took 2 hours to get it,and it was cold and hard. The guy at the door apologized, but the employees in the store are horrible.
We also had this same experience again when we ordered for work on more than one occasion. And the pizza didn't arrive until AFTER their lunch was over when it was guaranteed half an hour BEFORE lunch.
Then I ordered again last night for a 6 year olds birthday at 6:30, and we didn't get it until almost 9, when the kids we're already falling asleep. I spent 50. and gave a 10.tip for this kind of service. Not even worth the paper the receipt was printed on. The pizza again was cold and hard, the driver was rude, he put it at our back door where the light was off, instead of at our front door where we had our porch light on. And after it had been over an hour when it said 25 minutes I called Pizza hut to cancel my order and order from a local place (who was upfront with us and told us it'd be about an hour but guaranteed hot). However everytime we called (which was about a dozen times) we were told please hold, then put on hold, and no one ever came back to the phone.
This place has really gotten that bad, and we have given them way too many chances. The rewards aren't even worth it anymore (which is one reason we order there, given we have 8 kids and order for work). And while we like pizza hut, you couldn't even pay me to order from this...
Read moreWhen I tell you I haven't seen this many people at PizzaHut since the 90's, it was packed! The kitchen was in the weeds, the lobby was buzzing, and the staff was doing their very best. I commend the dude working the stove tremendously! He was handling customer complaints, checking folks out, and keeping the prep, kitchen, and cashier staff rolling and motivated. CUSTOMERS that gathered in the lobby waiting just like myself for an hour plus (they were backed up bad, 2 dollar personal pan special)I noticed folks come in, with phone orders already placed before arriving, being greeted with a backed up kitchen and a lobby full of people just trying to not lose their patience. Over 1000 personal pans sold, they ran out of dough and started using what they had available to fulfill orders. Lobby got there 🍕, yes it took a long time, no it didn't kill me to wait, and I was brought back to a time where families that stand in line together will usually start a conversation and I feel like we lost that for a while here. Yea, it's just Pizza Hut....I get it but all that was missing is a StreetFighter cabinet and maybe a claw machine and I would have...
