Here we are six months later. I’m changing my rating to one star. Went in yesterday to pay on my two pawns and also pay one off. The young girl at the desk tried to tell me I was a month behind on the payment for both. When I didn’t believe her and questioned her she got angry. She did give me a print out to prove to me that their “system” showed I was behind. This young lady acted like I had personally insulted her. So, I left because it was obvious I was not going to get to the bottom of the situation with an angry overly dramatic clerk, and I definitely was not paying for a month I had not missed. Ironically, I called at nine yesterday morning to find out the exact amount I would need to get both my pistols, which is what I had with me when I went to pay one possibly both off. But, strangely, the amount changed when I got in the store. So, I went home to gather bank statements to show I have been paying faithfully since April. However, while I was highlighting “Richie’s Pawn and Gun” on my bank statements, I realized it wasn’t worth my time. The effort and time to try to prove my position to these folks would’ve added to the drama and would most likely not be a successful venture. I can buy two pistols at High Caliber or Finish Line, or literally any place in the state of Mississippi. This would be a monumental waste of my time and money. I have decided that I am not giving my money to these folks now or ever again. All the best to ya, but ya lost my business for the foreseeable future. Be careful, folks. Make sure it’s worth your time. If it’s not, save your money or go someplace where the people don’t act like you’ve slighted them or personally insulted them when you question their “system.”

This is the best kinda place to do business with. The owners are very down to earth as well as fair and honest on pricing and products. The whole staff always has a smile on their faces, they'll greet you when you walk in the door and treat you just the way you wanna be treated. Wanna browse around unbothered just looking at what's to offer? They'll leave ya be. Need help or information on a particular product in store? They'll be right there, ready to answer any and all of your questions. Really can't say enough good things about this place. The layaway options are great too! Everytime I needed help, they were very helpful,, kind, and considerate.Just about everytime I pass Richie's Pawn Shop, I pull in to see what new items are available. I have bought so many items that I wanted, or needed, while I was in there just looking around .The prices are always low, and reasonable . Anytime I needed some cash, I have pawned personal items .
