Edit 7/14/2023 WARNING!!! THIEVES WORK HERE Today I saw on my card statement that a $4 tip was added to my purchase without my permission. The really bad part is that this is the second time it has happened! The first time it happened it was $5. I called the store, notified someone and I went up there and they refunded my money. This time I just decided not to call them and just leave a bad review and hope that this hurts more. I even scratched out the tip spot on the receipt so they couldn't add the money and they did it anyway. So beware if you go to picayune donuts. Be sure to scratch out the tip line very good or you could be their next victim. The staff are very friendly. Pretty good assortment of doughnuts. Not much of an atmosphere though. I'm one of those folks waiting at 4:30 am for Picayune Donuts to open. Hands down the best donuts in town and at least 1/3 larger than any other donuts sold. And , yes left over donuts are so good the next day. Especially with black coffee. To witness a new day as the sun rises. I was looking for a local mom and pop type place for breakfast on a Sunday morning. I always try to buy local instead at some chain restaurant. When I couldn't find anything else open, I decided to drop in and just get some donuts. This is so much more than a donut shop!! Breakfast biscuits of all kinds and kolaches.
