I purchased a camper from Dads on June 15, 2015. I paid them cash for the camper at the time of pick up. Over 2 months later I still had not received the title. I contacted the State and they informed me that they hadn't received the paperwork from Dads. I called Dads and spoke with the finance/warranty guy, I informed him of the reason for my call. He said there was a lien on that camper and the owner handled all of the titles. He tried to call him but was unable to reach him. He informed me that he would have him call me. I waited a day and still had not heard from Dads. I called back and was told that they would have my salesman call me back. I waited another day and still no response from them. After calling back again I was given the salesman cell phone number. I tried to call but no answer. He immediately text me back and said he was going home and would call me the next day. The next day, Dennis the owner called me. He tries to be a slick talker and will do nothing but interrupt me every time I start talking. I asked him several times to let me finish but he never would. I finally had to hang up, since he wouldn't stop interrupting me. He then tries to call me back several times and the starts texting me. Asking for me to please call him back because he really wants to work this out. His last text asks me if my bank should be listed as the lien holder!!! Really Dennis? You had all of this information the day I purchased the camper. You don't get it 2 and half months later. In the next fifteen minutes he contacts the bank in Picayune and finds the title that he says will be picked up on Monday. He says he is going to send the title off on Monday and I should have it in 10 days. Now, I understand why he has other bad reviews about customers not getting there titles . Then all of a sudden when a customer starts calling about there title, he finds it at the local back in the same town he is in. ...
Read moreThis should’ve been a great day- we researched & knew exactly which RV we wanted to buy. We did all the prep work ahead of time & Dad’s Camper Outlet knew we were coming 1 week ahead of time. We drove 200 miles & were planning on putting down the deposit and making arrangements to pick up our new RV a few days later. It should have been a very easy sale. But, I guess Dad’s doesn’t want to sell the Keystone Passport GT 2700RL. By the looks of it, it’s been sitting in their lot for a very, very long time. The grime on the outside was only matched by the layers of dust on the inside & the broken shades and hard to open windows. The backsplash was loose & the shower surround dented & missing caulk. Visible staples lined the interior walls and you could definitely say this was a Friday build. They knew we wanted to make sure the A/C system worked correctly- specifically the 2nd A/C unit in the bedroom. This A/C stopped working 5 minutes into our walk through. We were told it was because it was only on a 30 amp breaker, not a 50. But, the breaker never tripped. Our sales rep, Lance tried to get us to commit to buy before we even got to touch this RV. No need to lie and don’t bother to lie to seasoned RVer’s. We work in RV resorts and are very connected with RV groups. I would never recommend my friends or guests to Dad’s Camper Outlet, or specifically Lance at Dad’s. Our time was completely wasted. Nick at Dad’s Camper Outlet was very hospitable and we appreciated his courtesy, even trying to show us more recent arrivals that didn’t have months...
