My husband and I decided we were going to pick up a pizza at Little Caesars, but they obviously were not too concerned about us standing at the counter for more than 5 minutes waiting for somebody to take our order only to get it wrong. So we decided to go across the street to KFC. That was an even bigger mistake. I can't believe how far down these fast food restaurants have gone. When did they stop caring about people or the food they serve them. Their sign plainly states "Go large". It doesn't say go large on just the drink it says you can pay extra to go large on your combo. When I got my food it already looked bad enough but then I got a fry that looked like it should have been an ultra small fry. When I went to the counter to get a large fry she said they don't do large fries on combos. She wasn't too concerned that the food wasn't right. $16 for bad food and bad management. The picture doesn't even do justice of how small that fry was. I will put this on my list of places I will never go again at least not the one in Pickens South Carolina. The only good thing about the visit was the young man that took our order. He was very pleasant and kind and concerned about our experience. I told him the best thing he could do is find a job with a company that cares about the customers as much as they do the employees. If you want good food go to a restaurant. You might pay more but the food will be better. And please don't go to the KFC and picking South Carolina. They're not concerned about the people they're just concerned about a paycheck. They've made that pretty obvious.smh fast food continues to go downhill and so do the...
Read moreFor the $37 and change that I spent in this store, my order should have been perfect. The tea should not have been sour, there should have been mashed potatoes and gravy in one of the boxes rather than fries, the fries should have been freshly cooked as should have been the spicy chicken sandwich fillet that look like it had been laying in the warmer all day. I worked at Kentucky fried Chicken, I know how chicken is supposed to look when it's freshly cooked and hasn't been laying in the warmer for 3 or 4 hours. The young woman at the drive-thru window was the only thing pleasant about this experience. My order was a five-piece tender big box with potatoes and gravy and slaw, a three-piece big box with fries and slaw, and a spicy chicken sandwich with a coleslaw. There was no coleslaw with the spicy chicken sandwich, the five piece tenders box with potatoes and gravy had fries and coleslaw instead of potatoes and gravy and coleslaw and the fry box was not even full. And the tea was rank. I don't know what has happened to KFC. But this is pretty much on par for every KFC in the area. Clemson, Seneca, and now Pickens. It's no wonder that every KFC that I see nowadays has few if any cars in the parking lot or the drive-thru line. Judging from the lack of response to any of the bad reviews here, the owner obviously does not care. Oh well, at least the young woman at this particular KFC is not rude like the people over in Seneca or the...
