Uno Tea House Pico Rivera — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

I wanted a place with a bathroom and cold drinks, I decided on Uno Tea House bc I saw their sign for Mondays to Thursdays between 12pm to 4pm, all regular sized teas & milk teas (16-20oz) are $3. There are also signs that states all drinks are 20% off. I ordered a boba milk tea at half sweet, which including taxes cost $5 bc boba as a topping costs extra. The tea taste was pretty faint & plain, and the boba was a bit too soft which would be fine if the drink made up for it but it didn't. Their cups are the wider shorter type, so they don't fit in most drink holders. The atmosphere felt grim, with large amounts of drink supplies like plastic drink cups, drink covers, & boba straws being sold on the side. The digital ordering machine out of order. The bathroom was out of order. The employee told me there was no free wifi despite the sticker outside saying such. There were 2 long tables & 1 small table for seating, but the chairs were uncomfortable. I was very disappointed. Maybe next time I'll go to La Monarca which is nearby. Uno Tea House didn't feel like an open, fresh, carefree cafe I'd see myself coming back to, since there's so many cafes that are much better for the...

I’m so disappointed. I ordered a vanilla smoothie through DoorDash and I was not aware that the smoothie came by itself without boba. Like most places, boba usually comes with drinks. So it didn’t come with boba, which is fine. But the drink tasted SUPER diluted. Like it was sitting out for hours and put it in a cup to seal anyway. Amazing customer service! One of the few places that greet you when you walk in and give you a far well on the way out. Thai Milk Tea with boba is delish. The ice cream macaroons are delish. The place is always clean and they have board games for you to enjoy while waiting. Definitely a family...
