Wawa — Restaurant in Pilesgrove Township

I will give this Wawa 4 stars rather than the 3 I normally give a Wawa just because if I had to claim one as being my store this would be it. I live about 8 miles away and can remember the old store that was closed and torn down to make way for this one and my wife and I were even excited that we were getting a new store. That was way back when if you were ordering a sandwich it actually had some meat on it instead of being mostly lettuce and onions and you did not have to use the stupid television screen to order it but would actually talk to someone and let them know how you wanted it instead of being the production line it is today. I have learned that if I really want a good sandwich I would rather go out to Elsinboro and get one there. It seems to me that even the coffee wasn't as weak as it is at most of the stores now a day but that was so long ago I really don't remember. This store does have a lot of memories for my family and me including my daughter who had worked here for a while so I guess they deserve a 4 star rating instead of the typical 3. Lady at register (pinkish braids) has a nasty attitude. Had online order she argued me down about where it was when I had already inquired with the people making it who didn't have it. It was a curbside pickup but the app won't let me tell them I'm here. Then I told her all the hash nrowns were burnt and she should remove the ones out for sale. They were hard as a rock with burnt corners but she ignored that and left it out for the patrons to waste their money on. Its unacceptable customer service especially when not even 2 weeks ago this same location PUMPED SUPREME gas into my DIESEL truck. They took care of it but every step was horrible. From my truck being drug across the parking lot by the tow truck to just the anxiety. But I would highly recommend retraining that woman. Everyone else got the same experience with me and nobody was rude. Except her. I'm a home owner in the area so will be coming here for the remainder of my life. Let's home the attitudes are fixed by then

SONNY IS THE BEST WORKER YOU HAVE!! I hope I am spelling that right. Sonny (or Sunny?) is an overnight worker at this Wawa location who helped me with my car when it wouldn’t start! I arrived at this Wawa and my car was now unable to start when I pulled in due to having no fuel. Sonny came by my car, asked if I needed help (I did), & then PUSHED MY CAR to the gas pumps in order to get my car started again. I offered him a tip or money since he was such an amazing help, but he didn’t want it so I thought leaving this review would help. Bless this man, seriously!!
