McDonald's — Restaurant in Pine Grove Township

Well you walk in and see the self ordering stations n have no idea if you must order there or can use one of the two registers no one was standing by if entering the first time. You do have a choice I found out after a man walked in and went to counter and saw me waiting behya guy and looking confused and said you can order here too n he was ready to order n a employee did after about 5 mins walk to register. Some very stupid things I discovered and a bit deceiving. They no longer have hamburgers per saw, you must order a cheeseburger w no cheese so if you don't get the dollar menu cheeseburger w no cheese your paying extra I gather if order a hamburger now but not sure. Then a medium chocolate shake is exactly the same size as a small soda, a bit deceiving n I thought they gave me wrong size, I took a pic of the small coke n med shake, but your paying like $3.60 for a medium shake which is a rip off in my opinion. The food was at least hot, french fries fresh and staff was very nice. The tables in the dining room however don't have someone coming out n wiping off table. The table behind us on each side was dirty for the 45-60 mins my client and I sat in there. The bathroom was fairly clean but the one to let didn't want to flush and had to flush it 3 xs. It is nice looking inside but they need a sign for new people saying can order at counter or self service menu. You pay with a credit card or bank card are self service I noticed. It's fairly busy but a lot more cars in lot then ppl eating inside right by the door so most of the vehicles had to be employees. The fact I stood behind a guy at self service n no one at the cash registers says staff a bit lazy if they can see ppl standing 5+ mins and no one says you may pay here because why would anyone want to stand behind someone when the register is no line. It took both ppl at the self service machine awhile to order n pay because I actually was up at counter n paid before the man or woman at the self service machine walked up for food order. They give you a number for your order and bring it to your table. I told the guy at register that the family buys my client food off $1 menu so I got him a cheeseburger w no cheese, a supposed small fry n sm soda, he asked me if like $1.47 was ok for Jason fry n I said yes, I got a shake n sm fry however when food brought to table he got a medium fry And mine later brought n I got a small so not sure why they ordered Jason a medium when I was very specific and they got mine right. I think you best watch orders because I think they will try to over charge you if they can by a more expensive item, otherwise why give me one medium fry n one small when I ordered his and then mine n said sm for both. Thw prices here are cheaper than Elizabethville store. It's very easy to get to from route 81 and overall if a traveler if you want mc Donald's I'd say stop here vs ones by Harrisburg where food was cold and poorly made when I stopped at the one south...

One of those visits where everything went wrong. There was a long line but they had a self order station so I went to the kiosk where you put in your own order... Half of the screen had very poor sensitivity and you had to press the area several times to get your selection to register... then the total had two of one item from that so I had to go back and edit it, then when the total came up, there was an malfunction with the card reader, so I had to go stand in line anyhow to pay. Ordered the chicken fingers and that may have been the problem... pretty sure they had to raise and the slaughter the chicken after I ordered. After several minutes someone behind the counter noticed I had been there a while, looked at the orders waiting screen and yelled to the back that they needed chicken fingers, I got them after another ten minutes. They did apologize for the wait, but I could have gone to a sit down restaurant and had something that tasted good too for the time it took. Also, when the chicken fingers first came out a couple years ago, they were some of the best, then the chain sold out everywhere in the country and came back with them a few months later... they didn't seem to sell out so much as they accidently made them really good so they had to re-engineer them to something more McDonalds like and make them only worth eating when you have no other food options in the area and...

Is really sad how our new generation is being raised now in days, A job is a job no matter what you do! My family and I felt discriminated not surprise coming from a red state, We waited 30 mins in line the little boy that was taking the orders was looking over the window when he saw we were latinos he stopped taking our order and move to the other micro and he started to take the other vehicle orders, We let him be ! Hoping he was gonna have any comment sense at the end but no, we waited for so long that we decided to move up to the window , Once we got to the window the boy was laughing and he went to hide not surprise coming from a immature little kid , we asked to speak to the manager because we do understand they are teenagers working their first job , and they need to understand we all humans coming from different backgrounds , Of course the excuse of the manager was they were short stuff . We took the apology our food and left . But one thing I will never understand is the behavior of those kids as we were leaving the other girl started to laugh. Let's raise our kids better they are our future doctors ,...
