My husband and I went to eat here last week for the first time. We googled it randomly and found it close to where we were and the reviews were decent enough. I ordered their steak salad and my husband the rueben. The steak salad was missing the steak, and in fact, was replaced by roast beef or pastrami or some other type of cold cut. It was atrocious. There was no flavour whatsoever and they omitted the most important part of it, and tried passing off their pastrami as steak. We were already at a different location when we opened up our food and noticed this strange meat on my salad.
Anyway. I don't know if they were out if steak and substituted for pastrami, but it was disgusting. And I paid full price as if it were steak. My husband's sandwich was inedible as they smothered it with their house sauce and he ended up having to throw it out because it was impossible to taste anything but the sauce.
I won't be going here again. Thank you for the unfortunate experience, I'm glad we got to see it the first time so we don't waste our hard-earned money here again.
Edit: owner responded to this saying "thanks for the info, we will correct it moving forward", so no apology for throwing a cold cut into my salad and trying to pass it off as the menu item ordered?! Wow! So, clearly owner was aware of situation and does not care....
Read moreEvery time that we eat at Zuppa's it is a amazing dining experience. When leaving I always make sure to complement the staff for a job well done. The reason for this review, is that today I purchased a quart of their Sweet Potato soup and it was so good that my Wife could only have a cup for I consumed the rest and I had a hard time sharing the cup with her. These Guys do a amazing job with everything that they create. Even the beverages are so much better than the average drink elsewhere. So if anywhere in the Gibsonia, Wexford, Cranberry area you owe it to yourself to stop at Zuppa's and enjoy a awesome dining...
Read moreI'm really glad that I tried Zuppa's in Wexford. It's such a quaint and cozy place with a homey feel. Their menu of soups, salads and sandwiches is both classic and contemporary with fresh, tasty ingredients. My son had a grilled cheese with was generously sized and that he enjoyed. I had the Tuscan Roast Beef Sandwich which was warm pressed. It was very good. The Roast Beef but a bit more rare than I like but not enough to need corrected. I also tried the homemade, Italian wedding soup which was very good. Zuppa's is counter service. There is ample indoor seats and a few outside. I will definitely...
