legit our favorite kava spot. i live up by pasco but i don’t mind the drive down to chill at this kava spot after work. it’s huge, tons of open space, and it’s open til 1am every day and 2am fridays & saturdays. tons of couches, chairs, bar seats, and outdoor seating. small game room with 2 dart machines, 2 pinball machines, and a bowling machine. gender neutral bathrooms. extensive menu for anyone lookin for anything, including tons of flavor options. the smoothies are awesome and the occasional treat for me away from the usual kava mix i get. they’ve got sodas and snacks, as well. tons of tvs, always playing a variety of popular movies — usually with the volume off, captions on, and soft vibe-y music from the touchtunes. definitely a great spot if you’re looking to chill for the evening.

been coming here nearly since the beginning of opening, and it’s been great watching it grow and become a hot spot. while it’s been getting busier, it never loses that immaculate after-work vibe.

chris is our favorite kavatender by FAR, really from any kava spot we’ve been to in pinellas. out of anyone there we get served by, he’s always the most positive, upbeat, conversational one. he’ll come around and ask people if they’re good or if they need anything. he engages people with what’s going on with events for the month, or even just the movie that’s playing. great dude, great...

My friends and I LOVE this bar. Some of my friends drive 30 minutes just to get here and they’ll come 4 to 6 times a week!

The things we love about it are 1.) It’s huge - It’s one of the biggest kava bars around. Tonight is a Saturday night and there are 18 people here right now and it could easily handle another 18. 2.) The drinks are strong and cheap - you feel them after one 24 once drink. Some places you’ll order three drinks and still not feel anything 🥲 They also offer discounts if you go to the Planet Fitness next door. 3.) The fast WiFi - it can handle everyone playing video games on their laptops. 4.) Their seating - they recently got new couches and they’re so freaking comfortableeeeee! Omg I could pass out on these things. 5.) The ambiance. Check out the pics 6.) The sound system - it fills the space but they don’t turn it up so loud that you can’t hear the people you’re with. 7.) The events - Jackbox nights are fun. 8.) The bartenders - some of the nicest and welcoming. A few have been working here for years. Jackie, Destiny, and Lynette are our personal favorites

After upgrading their seating there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this place. The only things that could possibly make it ANY better would be if they had fire spinning and tapioca boba for their drinks but then they would be too awesome and that would just be unfair to all the other...

I've been here twice and spoke with them over the phone once. I would not say that their service is good at all. Both times I was ignored by a server on their phone (two different servers on different days, mind you) for several minutes.

One was apologetic though it was the longer wait. The other time the server forgot my order and asked me what it was two additional times after I placed the initial order--I was the only other person in there that day.

I can't give the place all 1-stars because the Kava was pretty good and the location looks great. But they should seriously put their servers through Customer Service training, they're spaced out even by Kava bartender standards and that's saying something.

Additionally, I've seen their signs (and other reviews here) saying that they have Oxygen, as in an Oxygen Bar, but when I called to ask about it they seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. They also come up as an "oxygen bar" when you search in the Tampa Bay area. The responder told me they weren't sure if they had oxygen or not, but that it was "unlikely" if it's not on their menu pdf. Fair enough, but shouldn't they know that they...
