MB GRILL — Restaurant in Pinellas Park

I live across the street from MB Grille. I used to spend around $100 a week there buying lunch and dinners for myself and my elderly people that I care for.

The food was never great, but it was acceptable.

Id often get the Phili cheese steak combo. It was by far the best thing on their menu. The last time I ordered 4 combos for myself, my GF and my parents to have a nice dinner. When I go to pay I noticed the proce went up a buck. No big deal . However when I got home and opened them up I couldn't believe my eyes. They were all extremely skimpy and each combo had exactly 8 fries. Not the Thick steak fries either. The sandwiches had far less meat than a single steakum slice. They've really never generious but again , acceptable. Looks loke they took the ingredients for 2 combos and split them in half to make 4 . I tool them back over and the owner says I was trying to scam him. The guy that eats there every single day and never complained a single time about the just barely acceptable food.

Anyhow , he refused to make it right in any kind of way so I've never been back.

I then discover that he keeps all the tips from credit cards . Always tip cash in there.

Then few week later I see him at a close by store buying an alarming amount of bug sprays and discover this happens a lot. Who needs a shopping cart full of bug spray?

All week I've been coming in and enjoying the food. I told my girl all week how good the food is and how she had to try it. We finally made the trip over and the food was so poorly done it was very upsetting the portion size shrank more then half overnight. The food quality went from a 5 out of 5 to a 1 out of 5 the service was good but very slow think we waited 5-10 mins for them to take are order then another 10-15mins to make are food. There where no other cars and only one person in the restaurant at the time. The only thing this place had going for it this visit was the always make the food when you order so that in itself will get me to come back I just hope it'll be better and not so...

I’ve lived in the area a while and seen a few places come and go at this location. And honestly I never tried any of them before. For some reason I decided to try the gyro here one day and I was hooked. I have to say this spot is amazing for a drive through. I gave it a try on a whim and have been back multiple times and haven’t been disappointed yet. I’ve tried the hamburger and gyro and mozzarella sticks. All of it has been very good. The fries are delicious and just the right amount of crispy. The staff is super nice and friendly. Try this place out, you won’t be disappointed!
