Mad Chicken — Restaurant in Pinellas Park

I feel bad to do this because this seems like a private owned small business and I always hope for these places to succeed over the corporate dine-in and drive-thru places that being said... I went into their Pinellas park location ordered 2 bowls one the tater tot bowl the other the waffle fries bowl I also ordered their 6 pack of deep fried oreos the total for this order was close to 35$. Now the staff was friendly and correctly made our order as asked the wait time was probably in the 15 minute range which in most cases like a small business with a small kitchen is common and acceptable as it guarantees our order is made fresh right then and there, BUT unfortunately in the case of mad chicken this did not ring true... The total bowl was supposed to have ranch sauce drizzled over it but it didn't and had we not asked for some we would have left without a sauce for that bowl, there was a wierd white cheese melted over it that had a sour taste, the tots were dry and mushy, the chicken was dry and the breading was soft and grainy, fried chicken should have a little crunch to it's breading 🤷... The waffle fry bowl was almost same deal but at least my bowl had The signature mad sauce drizzled over everything BUT again the chicken was super dry, breading was soft and grainy, the fries were hard as a brick, and the melted cheese was broiled too long 🤷 sorry but for 26-27$ for 2 of these bowls highly disappointing--- The fried oreos was basically a hard donut ball with an oreo cookie inside super dry and bland I HATE TO DO THIS TO A SMALL BUSINESS BUT THIS PLACE WAS TERRIBLE I WILL NOT BE EATING HERE AGAIN AND I HOPE THEY GET THEIR COOKING QUALITY ASSURANCE...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Experience at Mad Chicken!

Just had an amazing meal at Mad Chicken and I have to give a big shoutout to Adam—he was super friendly, generous, and quick to recommend items from the menu, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

The restaurant was clean, lively, and very busy, but service was still fast and efficient. Our food came out piping hot and fresh—so hot we had to let it cool down before diving in!

We ordered the Mac & Cheese Chicken Sandwich, crispy chicken wings, waffle fries, and tried out four different barbecue sauces from their huge selection. I’d guess they have at least 16 different sauce flavors—perfect for anyone who loves variety.

The chicken sandwich was thick and satisfying, made with two tenders instead of a single breast, which actually made it easier to eat. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly.

Yes, it was a bit on the pricier side, but honestly, when the food is hot, fresh, and full of flavor, I don’t mind one bit.

We’ll definitely be back! And bonus—it’s right next to the dispensary, which just makes the visit that...

So first of all I found this place because it was open late where most other restaurants close early, they were open till 3:00 a.m. on a Friday. That's bonus points for me.

So I kept it simple I got a four tender combo with the standard waffle fries and a drink.

Whenever I go someplace I usually get the basic things to start or maybe a staple for the type of food they're serving.

I got the four chicken tenders and they were the full tender, they were significantly larger than something you would get at Chick-fil-A or PDQ. They were perfectly seasoned and perfectly salted, which is actually pretty uncommon nowadays.

The fries were anything to write home about but they weren't bad.

Next time I visit my friend nearby I'm definitely stopping by again, the prices are reasonable for the quantity of food you get...
