Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Pinellas Park

I am sharing my experience of the 66th store staff on Friday 10/27/23 as it was AWFUL. I ordered my pizza at 758pm to be delivered with a promise time of 828pm. I was sent an email at 820 pm that the pizza was "on its way". at 855pm the pizza had still not shown up and I called the 66th street location and spoke to a female I believe her name was Anisa she stated that the promise time was an average and that they got slammed and that time was incorrect. I stated I wanted to make sure it was still on the way. The pizza was delivered at 906pm and was cold. I called back at 909pm and spoke to the same female in which another person was screaming in the background and I could only assume it was another employee as the associate on the phone was telling her to "shhh" I advised your employee that the pizza was delivered and it was cold and I was told "it cant be" advised in fact it was and was then told the times of the emails sent for each step and that I was incorrect. Advised I was not arguing the point of the delivery and there was no need for her to be rude that I wanted them to know it was cold so that if they had anymore calls they would know why. I was again told the times of the emails and steps and told they could deliver another pizza and that we would have to give them this pizza back. Advised I did not have time for that as we had somewhere to be and the associate advised she could give a 10.00 credit. The whole conversation someone was still yelling at the top of their lungs in the background. I have always had a great experience with this location and this employee has me questioning whether or not I will EVER order from here again. Please remind her to always be kind to people you never know what they are experiencing especially when I was not even rude or raising my voice. Just ordered from here. I'd say it's wasn't outstanding but it was solid. Solid 4 stars. The food was decent enough to go back. The pizza and bowl we ordered were good quality. It's a little out of the way though for me. So, I would probably order somewhere closer most of the time. But it was pretty good. I would return if it was the direction I was going. Now I have been in there before at night with someone else getting food. And I will say personally I wouldn't have hired most of the motley crew I saw a while visting previously. I believe in clean cut people myself. I'm not fond of the acceptance for Dr Weird Beard with a taliban beard, or folks with bottle caps in their earlobes or cartoons all over them . But the food I ordered before the night weirdos, I guess come in, was decent. So I won't take away from the quality of the food just because I saw MTVs Oddities a couple times. Shuckin & Jivein just isn't my thing. Neither is bud. I don't know why doodles from those northern states think its acceptable to call other men bud or buddy even. But, I call my kids that, not other men. It seems very disrespectful to me. Idk why, but it's this new thing doodles think is acceptable. It's like being a smart ace without just coming out and doing it. So you can act like you were being friendly. I did get that. Would you call your Sargeant, boss, or the President bud, or Bubba or buddy. Would you say it to you father-in-law. No, so it's only said to someone, to downplay them. As if they are beneath you. A child yes it's fine. Hey bud how was your day. Just saying. But, I know doodles. A lot of them are sheltered and lived in a bubble and have very presumptuous malformed opinions of things, alot of the time, so it was let go. Just saying though. 4 star...

We've never ordered from Marco's before. Since all other pizza chain joints (delivery type) are not so good, we thought we'd give this one a try. BIG MISTAKE!! They placed me on hold 4 times. I must say...the young lady that took my order was very professional and quite nice. I was told order would take 30 minutes. NOPE!! IT TOOK 1 HOUR!! Ordered a steak n cheese, no mushrooms, no mayo, add onion, add bell pepper, extra cheese. In the steak and cheese picture on the menu, it shows "red" bell peppers. But, I had to add those on, because it only comes with mushroom, cheese and mayo. Didn't get red ones, got green ones (uncooked/raw), no onion, overcooked dry very small amount of meat, soggy wet bread, flavorless and toasted to oblivion. I added salt, pepper and mayo after eating about 1/4 of the sandwich. This did not help to add any flavor at all. THE REMAINDER WENT IN THE TRASH!! Also ordered a large deluxe pizza, with no green peppers. The pizza dough was flavorless, difficult to chew (yes, i have all of my teeth), pasty and dry (like cardboard). The sauce was definately not Italian. More like tomato paste and had no flavor, not even seasoned. The only thing right about this pizza was "no green peppers". When placing the order, she said "there's a BOGO included", so I added a large pepperoni. After tossing my sandwich, I thought, "at least I can have a slice of that". WORST PIZZA EVER!! I will never order from Marco's again and I hope this review discourages others from ordering from...
