Hao Wah Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Pinellas Park

I walked in to pick up an uber eats order. After telling them the name they started running around looking for the order which they could not find. Clearly there was an issue but i could not understand what they were saying to eachother. I was told it would be ready in a few minutes so i sat and waited thinking they were cooking the food and just didn't see the order on their computer when they first got it. I finally get up and ask how much longer an the lady tells me another driver picked up the wrong order and was driving it back to give to me. I said what you guys are not making new food?? You are expecting the customer to eat food that someone already left with 30minutes ago and has been driving around with in their vehicle??? She said hes on his way hold on ill call him again or you can just cancel the order.. I said no thats ok i dont want to deliver that that's disgusting . i cannot believe a restaurant would be ok with giving a paying customer a bag of cold food that someone else already took with them and now asks them to return. How gross. I cant imagine eating from this place. Even though it wasnt my food i would of never been ok with delivering an order to someone that another driver already took with them and...

Went here for takeout dinner and got the dinner combo General Tso's chicken and the Delicious Chicken. The food tasted very good most Chinese food gives me that post food regret from how unhealthy it is but I didn't really get that with this I don't know if that means it is healthier or if it was just happenstance. The General Tso's you could tell you were getting big chucks of meat instead of mostly breading which was nice. The Delicious Chicken was good but I think I would probably try a different dish next time not because it was bad just because it was very generic. Cost to portion ratio is about in line with other Chinese restaurants in the area maybe slightly better given the higher quality of the food. I wanna try it again in the future for sure.

Edit: This is my new favorite place for Chinese food most Chinese takeout tastes very similar but this place feels different like it's home cooked and not so unhealthy after I've tried it...

having family who owned a restaurant, i consider myself a fair reviewer & VERY rarely do i leave a bad review. that being said, this is one of the worst chinese restaurants i have ever been to. i ordered general tso chicken, and it tasted nothing like it. basically uncooked vegetables and awful fried rice. i tried to enjoy it but couldn’t and called the waiter over. she hassled me for complaining saying i should have told her on the first bite. i literally ate 2 pieces. then the manager came over and helped and swapped it out for some walnut shrimp. those came out luke warm and covered in this mayo consistency white sauce. my stomach was getting sick after the first bite. i left my plate and went to pay. manager and my waiter said nothing about the fact that i didn’t eat the replacement meal and didn’t ask me about it.
