This Was My First Time Ordering From Here & It Was Horrible The Driver Left My Food On The Ground & Then They Offered To Bring Another One & The Man Was Arguing With Me .. I Will Never Eat From here Again & They Have Bugs They Need To Be Shut Down

& Since They Want To Lie In Response I Am 7 Months Pregnant & The Delivery Driver Was On The Phone With Me The Whole Time With Me Walking Downstairs To Get My Food .. The Driver Said I’m Outside With Your Food Called Me Once As Well .. As I’m Still Talking To The Driver He Saying I Rung The Door Bell I Was Saying I Didn’t Hear A Door Bell But I’m Coming .. We Are Still On The Phone As We’re Speaking But He Was Just Such Ina Rush To Just Leave My Food On The Ground . When I Got Down Stairs He Was Already In The Car Across The Street Meaning He Been Left My Food On The Ground , I Called Back Very Politely & The Second Driver Brought Me Another Sandwhich & Started Arguing With Me Again About My Doorbell & They Were Pressing The Wrong One .. But Since This Place Is So Unprofessional They’ll Be Hearing From The BBB & Also An Attorney I Tried To Handle This In A Friendly Manner But Now It’s Out Of My Hands . how Do You Lie About A Doorbell Not working ? Be Serious Now You Guys Did Not Press The Right Doorbell , & When I Went & Pressed It Myself I Heard It So You Guys Are Dishonest But It’s Fine They Will Handle...

Our company placed an order on 10/8/14 at 1:11pm, online. We received a email confirmation with our order with the following instructions: Delivery orders are typically delivered within 1 hour, and pickup orders are usually ready in 15 minutes. Your Order : Order Information Order No:483)

Around 2:20 the food still didn't arrive. We called Gianni's to see where the food was. The response and service we received was horrific. The man who spoke to us told us that the online ordering system doesn't work. Although you can place an order online, they don't receive it there. They are not set up for it. He then asked so what do you want. We decided to cancel the order as we normally place our orders with Pizza Stop in South Plainfield and they always do a great job, we though we would try something new. Big mistake. Once we said never mind we want to cancel the rude man on the phone started yelling and said "So what your mad now and somehow this is our fault, we didn't do anything and we aren't to blame." After about 2 minutes of him yelling, we hung up. No CHEESE STEAK OR PIZZA OR FOOD IS WORTH HORRIBLE SERVICE. Guess what there are a lot of places that make the same kind of food and do it just as good, what makes them different then Gianni's is the service...

Just realized I'd never written a review for this place. I grew up in the area and ate here very often. I pretty much always order the Gnocchi alla sorrentina w/ extra cheese. The sauce is always creamy and flavorful and the gobs of cheese add the right amount of saltiness and heart clogging factor. The portion size is huge and usually enough to last me two days (if I'm not super greedy) and you get pretty much half an Italian loaf to go with it. I've also gotten the cheesesteaks which are always delicious and a great portion size. The pizza has gobs and gobs of cheese which I love and the toppings are plentiful. The people working there are always very nice and the prices are great for the amount of food that you get. I really miss coming here all the time and may have to make a pit stop one...
