Circle City Ice Cream — Restaurant in Pittsboro

It’s great that there’s an ice cream joint to come to in town! The customer service is great and inviting, unfortunately, if I could leave 3.5 stars I would because the ice cream isn’t homemade or fresh. They serve Blue Bell which is great, but the Maple View Farm brand they have I ordered the cookies and cream flavor milkshake which doesn’t taste good at all. If you’re a fan of cookies and cream and know what it should taste like, then avoid it 😅 because it will leave you with a bitter aftertaste and disappointment. The ice cream was good as far as favor..Well I guess it was. If you like cool whip, chocolate and wet nuts with a little ice cream. When I pay 11.49 for and chocolate nut sunde I expect to get a full two scoops of ice cream. And didn't understand why they charged extra for nuts when that's what I ordered. The price should reflect all that is included in an chocolate nut sunde. Staff was friendly enough. As far as the place as a whole it was ok. I had a great experience at Circle City Ice Cream! I ordered two scoops of butter pecan on a cake cone, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The server and cashier were both super nice and provided excellent customer service, which made our visit even more enjoyable.
