This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I always try to give them chances and they are never nice or accommodating. I encourage people not to support this. Also they sell little cups of their icing. I have celiac disease and can't have anything here except the icing. I go in and make a trip over there and they lied and said they didn't have icing. In a bakery shop?? So I buy a cupcake so I can have the icing from it and ask for separate container so I can put the cupcake in a different container to send with my sister. Now they claim they have no containers?? Then the truth came out that they do in fact have icing but they don't have the little cups that they normally put it in. I asked if I could get it put in one of their other cups and they refused and said that they don't sell their icing. But they do sell their icing almost everyday. I've been trying to figure out for almost 10 years now why they are never accommodating and how they stay in business and I still have not figured it out. I'm not sure if it's pure evil that they don't want to accommodate or what it is? I didn't ask for anything gluten free or for any special requests other than can I have a different container to put some icing in. This place is really going downhill even more than I thought it would with customer service. While their cookies are good and even though I can't have them anymore I try to purchase them for other people I don't think I'll be able to bring myself back into the store.
I also think it is worth mentioning that this is one of the very few places that does not offer any gluten-free options. So you would think if somebody can't have gluten that you would accommodate and give them a cup of icing. How hard could it possibly be? I've worked in customer service all my life and I am...
Read moreI’ve never had a pleasant experience. I have been in the shop a handful of times, but I refuse to go back in. The cookies are delicious, however, the taste is masked by how awful the customer service is.
The dates are usually already booked when I have wanted to place an order- Which is completely fine, (because like I said, the cookies are delicious,) however, instead of educating the customers on how long their turnover time is for an order, I was belittled and made to feel stupid, because apparently I should have already known.
Also, if a store sells baking/decorating supplies you would think they would be more supportive of others doing their own work. This is not the response have been given. I sent my sister in to grab a cake box for me to transport a gender reveal cake I had made. She put me on speakerphone and the lady asked me to measure the cake. I did and then was told- Quote: “there’s no way the cake is that tall, you had to have measured wrong because, that would just look stupid. You need to send a picture.” I refused, and told my sister to go ahead and get the size I had measured. My customer was completely happy with the size of the cake and it fit perfectly, despite what the lady at Lori’s said.
It’s a shame. They have a nice selection of supplies, but they have lost what could have been a great customer, because of the...
Read moreWell, my experience was pretty awful. The lady that was working behind the counter was up there and my 4yr old son came in to get stuff for his sisters party and I went up to the counter and asked her about cupcake toppers 3 times before she finally looked up from her phone and asked if she could help me with anything and nor did she even apologize for keeping us waiting or being on here phone in general, its hard enough to keep a 4yr old still as it is, customer service is a big part of businesses and that was very, very poor service and I was very disappointed with my visit. I would not recommend coming here unless you just want to be ignored. You might as well just go look for everything yourself because god forbid that employee actually help a customer there was multiple people im there and she was doing it to almost all of us. If I didn't love their party stuff then I would have...
