Doctorbird Market — Restaurant in Pittsburg

I joined a group of friends here for a birthday celebration, specifically attending a special event hosted by Danielle and Zane Prior to the event we enjoyed local microbrews, cheese, and crackers from Doctorbird, that were delicious in their own right. The event itself (Beer Dinner) was excellent both for beer drinkers and those desiring non-alcoholic drinks, both the brews (thanks Headlands Brewing) and NA/virgin mixed drinks were carefully selected to pair with the food, thoughtfully prepared by Chef Danielle and her partner Zane The four course meal had a high end feel with small (but filling) plates with easy to love yet complex flavors, directly utilizing byproducts of the same brew as what filled our glasses, from spent wheat pita, to toasted malt breading, porter malt vinegar, and more. I left full and thankful for having tasted some of the excellent cooking and mixing. Whether you stop by for a quick bite, some drinks, a tasting, a four course meal, or any combination thereof, I can’t recommend Doctorbird...

The cutest little shop tucked away in Downtown Pittsburg! It's a delight to just walk in with the vibrant colors on the wall, the one of a kind products and the friendly owners who are always so welcoming (and knowledgeable). They have one of a kind treats, chocolate, cheese, crackers, chips, jams, wine, and so much more! I am hooked on Davoursmiths truffle and rosemary potato chips and Tamalitos artisanal candy bite me blood orange flavor! You need to check it out! Amazing shop, do not miss out! They carry the best wine, cheese, and beer in the area, but you wouldn't know from the prices. I visit regularly for their always changing craft beer fridge, but also stay to enjoy good company and friends at the bar. This last weekend they hosted a 4-course beer dinner that was phenomenal! Chef Danielle's up-scale take on her home favorites was a special treat, especially when expertly paired with Headlands beers and Zane's creative alcohol free cocktails! This is the shop Pittsburg needed, and I am excited to see what else they have up...
