Pittsburg Marina — Attraction in Pittsburg

Absolutely the worst marina we've stayed in during our time cruising the bay area. Staff is unhelpful, rude, and unsafe. We let the marina know we had a package coming, that was crucial to safe operation of our vessel (radiator cap to fix the leaking one on our perkins 4108) instead of accommodating us they forced us off they dock, with an engine that could possibly overheat. After checking all the local stores, and trying to get one locally, we had to order one online, but the earliest delivery date was monday. Shortly after we were forced to leave (about 3 hours), the package showed up. Since we live on our boat, getting back to this marina is not an easy task, especially with 2 kids and a dog. Since then, the marina has left threatening messages and emails, claiming they would send the package back, which they have not done. We had to find another radiator cap, and are out the money for the cost of the old one yet we are still being harassed by staff to pick up the package. The marina even lied about how long the package had been there, claiming it had been there for weeks when according to the delivery date it had been only 10 days since the package delivery. This is My go to place for My own peace and sanity. Call it My second home if You'd like. The marina has a great deal of restaurants with wonderful cuisines, groceries store, saloon, spas, there's also a yatch club, a school, karate lessons studio (I think) and much more. I have been to a couple of restaurants, and a spa there but on most occasions I just sit by the water, reading a book. Observing its tide and the coming and going of boats. Great marina with concrete docks, large covered sheds, clean bathrooms and well run. Not the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for. Marina was just recently dredged and quick access to fast water. Great fuel ⛽️ dock and pump out. Bait shop, restaurants launch ramp. Also, Pittsburg Yacht Club located within the marina lower basin entrance. Nice park next to marina to fish from the levee. VJ Marine full service boat yard located at the marina.
