El Charro — Restaurant in Pittsburg

Normally I absolutely love this place, I buy their Spanish rice by the container multiple times a week because it's that good. For months it's just been wonderful. Tonight tho, I go to get my normal order of rice. I get home and open the container and not only is it ice cold like it was pulled out of a fridge, but the container is only half full and the rice isn't fresh, tastes like yesterday's rice. I live so far out of town and had to find a ride just to go get it, I haven't called because they'll just say come back and we'll replace it, which I can't do. I'm just really frustrated and disappointed that one of their cooks would try and pass this off to me. I get the same order twice a week to every other week and it's always the same, I don't know, I just really wanted to rant...

First off the online menu prices are not changed , the food i ordered was said to be $13.99 and when i got there it was$ 17.99. I ordered two orders of molcajete picked it up got it home only had one little piece of chicken and one little piece of steak and had a bunch of shrimp not to mention that it did not taste like they cooked it in a lava bowl it tasted like they just threw it on the flat grill and tossed it in the box . I wasnt satisfied i slept on it then woke up and made the call , the manager wasnt there today and the guy that answered the phone hung up on me ! Ive never had a problem there before and i hope they can take care of their mistakes ! The 40 dollars iwas not...

All I can say is WOW 🤩. SERIOUSLY 😳 Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. It was busy, I was greeted and seated immediately. $2.49 Margarita happy hour was still ongoing, for 10 more minutes, that’s why I had to order 3. And they were delicious !!!!

(And of course I was not driving, I had walked down from the Holiday Inn Express 🤠😜).

My server, Adam was amazing. Very upbeat and very, very attentive and prompt. I had the steak chimichanga dinner and it was excellent. The vegetables and guacamole were fresh and delicious. This place is fabulous folks I don’t leave bogus...
