I went to sonic and ordered food and a drink. The drink was for my mother who is 85 years old. When she complained and said it was unfit to drink I tasted it myself and agreed and she dumped it. About 4 hours later she asked me to go back and get another one but make sure it tasted good so I called and spoke to the manager which treated me like I was looking for something free and ask me to produce a receipt which I did. When I looked at the receipt and realized the cherry limeade cost almost 3.50 I decided why should I pay for something unfit for human consumption so I went back to sonic and ordered another cherry limeade and explained to the person on the intercom the situation and then I also ordered 2 more drinks. The car hop comes out and brings the cherry limeade and not the other drinks. I tried to explain that I had the receipt for the cherry limeade and I had spoke to the manager. I give the car hop the receipt and I asked about my other drinks. All she says is did I push the button more then once and I said no. She wanted the money for the cherry limeade and didn't care about nothing else. The conversation was beyond her comprehending so I said I wasn't paying for the cherry limeade and I handed It back to her and as she walked away she made some sideways comment. Hey its good if you can get almost 7.00 dollars for a medium cherry limeade but it isn't from me. I have noticed the last few times I've eaten there that they couldn't get my order rite and the quality of the food for the price was robbery! All I can say is I got ripped off for a cherry limeade and they lost the sale of the other drinks the car hop didn't bring. Do I think they care? Absolutely not because this has happened to many...
Read moreDefinitely not the best Sonic experience we've ever had. Stall speaker we just so happened to pull into didn't work, which is no big deal. They just had to send someone out to take our order the ole' fashioned way, so the whole process took a bit longer but we weren't in any hurry. Ordered two blasts and a small vanilla cup for my 2-year old. They shorted us a spoon, which was annoying because, again, the stall speaker didn't work, so it was kind of a pain to get another one. Still, minor annoyance. However, the quality of the ice cream was sub-par AT BEST. Side of my cup was covered in ice cream that apparently noone could be bothered to wipe off, and both mine and my wife's cups were only about 3/4 of the way full, and VERY sloppy looking, but hey, it all tastes the same right? Well, since they were both Sonic Blasts, I would assume that they had been properly mixed with candy and ice cream throughout, but nope...a little candy in the bottom, all ice cream in the middle, and a sloppy sprinkle of candy on top. Not impressed, guys. Especially since 2 small blasts and a tiny vanilla cup was almost $11...
Read moreThe service at Pittsburg Sonic is absolutely horrendous! They don't suggestive sale. They are rude on the speaker and even ruder in person. The carhops walk around like zombies that want to murder people. One big issue I have is them bringing out my coneys or chili chesse fries without a box. I don't care if it has a wrapper. It's ridiculous, especially on windy days. Light ice, means light ice. The more specific you are with your order the more they mess it up- almost as if it's done purposely. Not getting all of your items on large orders is expected so check your bags before you leave. They are argumentative no matter how relevant you are. Coneys are often thrown in the fryers if you order before 10am. On many occasions the chicken strips and side items have been either old or thrown back into the fryers to improve times. As a former manager and 10 year employee of Sonic, this is the worst one I have ever been to and that's...
